Geniet van een kleine dagtocht naar Machu Picchu met ons Als je weinig tijd hebt, is deze ervaring de beste optie en zeker de moeite waard, Machu Picchu is wat veel mensen hun mooiste ervaring in Perú noemen, helaas zijn de typische groepsreizen gekenmerkt door grote groepen, ophaalvertragingen, overvolle bussen en ongemotiveerde gidsen die hun gememoriseerde Machu Picchu-scripts presenteren. Vanwege de groepsgrootte is het vaak moeilijk om alles te volgen wat de gids zegt en om alle vragen die je met ons wilt stellen te stellen, is deze ervaring het tegenovergestelde. Maak kennis met deze prachtige bestemming.

We halen u 's morgens vroeg op bij uw hotel (tussen 03:30 en 05:00 uur) en brengen u naar het treinstation van Ollantaytambo. Vertrektijd is afhankelijk van de door u geselecteerde treinoptie.
U stapt op de trein naar Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu stad) om ongeveer 6.10 uur of 6.40 uur, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid. Bij aankomst staan onze lokale medewerkers voor u klaar met een bordje met uw naam. Tijdens de 1,5 uur durende treinreis kunt u genieten van een schilderachtig uitzicht op het Andesgebergte en de omliggende valleien.
De trein komt aan in Aguas Calientes, een klein stadje aan de voet van Machu Picchu. Bij aankomst wacht uw Gids u op bij het treinstation en zal u helpen met de volgende stappen, waaronder het instappen in de bus naar Machu Picchu en het coördineren van uw toegangsschema.
We nemen de bus naar Machu Picchu. Als groep gaan we samen het terrein op – vergeet niet om je originele paspoort mee te nemen, want dit is vereist voor toegang. Eenmaal binnen geniet je van een Gids tour van ongeveer twee uur, waar je professionele gids de geschiedenis, cultuur en betekenis van deze opmerkelijke Inca citadel zal delen. Je bezoekt de belangrijkste sectoren, bewondert de indrukwekkende architectuur en krijgt een dieper inzicht in het vernuft van de Inca-beschaving terwijl je je verbindt met de unieke natuurlijke omgeving van deze heilige plek. Na het begeleide bezoek keren we terug naar Aguas Calientes om de trein terug naar Ollantaytambo te nemen. Bij aankomst staat er privé vervoer klaar om u terug te brengen naar Cusco, met drop-off bij uw hotel.
JURIDISCHE KENNISGEVING ALLEEN VOOR HET HOOGSEIZOEN (mei tot augustus): Machu Picchu online tickets zijn vaak maanden vooruit uitverkocht. Het Cultureel Bureau in Aguas Calientes geeft een beperkt aantal vrij voor persoonlijke aankoop. Als online tickets zijn uitverkocht, kunt u de dag ervoor vroeg arriveren met uw paspoort om persoonlijk te kopen. In drukke tijden kunt u 2–3 extra nachten nodig hebben in Aguas Calientes.

Joel Guzman was our guide for the Machu Pichu Circut 2. He explained history, took good photos, and kept us entertained the entire excursion. 10/10 would recommend Joel to any group wanting to know the ins and outs of the Hidden City.
Lizandro was an exceptional guide. His knowledge and ability to communicate in English was very helpful. We definitely enjoyed our visit to Machu Pichu and would recommend it to family and friends.
The tour was amazing. This has been on my bucket list for years and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The views were breath taking! Our guide also help in making it such a memorable experience. Joel Guzman was able to answer all our questions and made sure we all had the best experience. He also takes the best pictures :)
I would have given five stars if the communication had been clear before the tour. Having chosen to do it on a Monday, we received the information for the tour on Saturday evening, and on Sunday we had almost no way to contact them and ask for clarifications (day off) except after reaching out through all possible channels. At the tour pick-up, we were able to clarify the various misunderstandings (tickets issued did not match the reservation made - but everything was resolved later) but with many difficulties. In general, they handle everything themselves, and it is quite convenient, but they could have managed things better. For the train schedules, we were not even asked what return time we would prefer, and we were forced to wait in Agua Caliente for almost 5 hours for the train since the change could have been made 24 hours earlier, and we could only clarify everything on the day of the tour.
We were very well served, the punctual transfers in comfortable vehicles, attentive guide. I highly recommend.

Hard to believe was able to see Maccu Picchu in just one day. FYI - you are on your own with respect to getting on the train but was meet with a guide after each step of the way.
This Trip should definitely be on everyone's bucket list. Viator made everything easy to coordinate and I found everyone that was part of this Trip knew exactly how to make the experience over the top!!!
We had a wonderful time on our tour. Everything from getting picked up at our hotel to when we returned was seamless and having it all included made it stress free. Joel was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide on the mountain and we learned a ton about Machupicchu as well as Peru. He took his time and made sure to take lots of pictures for us. Overall we loved the whole day!
