Ervaar de sensatie van walvissen spotten in Tromsø aan boord van de zeer comfortabele catamaran MS Gabriele. Het is ook de snelste boot wat betekent dat we sneller bij de walvissen zijn en meer tijd kunnen besteden aan het observeren ervan. De meest voorkomende soorten rond Tromsø zijn de bultrugwalvis, orka (dodelijke walvis), en soms de vinvis. Bultruggen staan bekend om hun acrobatische vertoningen, waarbij ze vaak hun staart op het water breken en slaan, terwijl orka's, met hun kenmerkende zwart-witpatroon, in groepen jagen en een lust voor het oog zijn als ze door de golven glijden. Af en toe kunnen gelukkige bezoekers de ongrijpbare vinvis spotten, het op een na grootste dier op aarde. Bewonder de adembenemende schoonheid van deze ongelooflijke wezens terwijl ze door ongerepte wateren glijden. In February the whale cruise is converted to a cruise on the fjords with 1 h on the island of Sommaroy. We have seen sea eagles and brown polar foxes. The guide and crew are very friendly.
Great scenery, friendly crew, clean ship. Because the whales had already left Alternative program with fjord shipping
Too bad there was no effort for even the whales. Despite being warned of the risk of not seeing the whales... they could at least have made the 6 cruises planned. Departure at 9am return at 2.30pm With a break of one hour on an empty island ... Seen an eagle... and a fox... Too bad because only excursion really disappointed.
Really enjoyed it, lovely catamaran with comfortable lounge, very clean, lovely friendly knowledgeable crew, highly recommend for a lovely trip!!
beautiful activity, the sea was rough but bearable and we saw a whale comfortable boat we'll be back in January 2027
Not only did we not see any whales, we stopped on an island and to see and walk, we were waiting for two passengers who were lost for 25 minutes, we left without them.....hope they are okay
Sighting of (only 2 sperm) Whales was limited to tiny specs in the distance. Taking 3 hours to find them and 3 hours to get back to Tromso. Over 70% of the passengers suffering from Sea sickness. It wasnt a pleasent trip. No advance warning given to the limited chance of seeing any Whales nor the likelyhood of Sea sickness. Extremely dissappointing.😞

Plenty of seats available and Lorenzo was very helpful and knowledgeable on the area and its wildlife. We were lucky enough to see a few families of orcas. Worth every penny
We had a great time on the whale safari adventure. From start to finish the stuff on the boat was amazing. Great explanation from the guid, lots of details about the area we traveled and more importantly the details about the whales. We were very lucky on the day as we saw so many orcas first then it followed with many humpback again orcas and few fin whales all swimming together. It was the greatest experience for the day. .
