Ga op een onvergetelijk avontuur naar Wadi Shab, een van de mooiste natuurwonderen van Oman. Je reis begint met een begeleide wandeling van 40 minuten (enkele reis) door een adembenemende canyon, omringd door dramatische rotsformaties en weelderig groen. Aan het einde van de route duik je in kristalheldere turquoise zwembaden en zwem je naar een verborgen grot, waar een magische waterval wacht. Deze tour biedt de perfecte mix van avontuur, ontspanning en ongelooflijke natuurlijke schoonheid, waardoor je herinneringen hebt die een leven lang meegaan.
De lunch wordt geserveerd in een lokaal café en bestaat uit kip of vis met rijst, verse salades en een verfrissend citroenmuntdrankje. Er is een vegetarische optie beschikbaar.
Bimmah Sinkhole is een met water gevulde depressie, structureel een sinkhole, in de kalksteen van oostelijk Muscat Governorate in het Sultanaat van Oman. Een meer van turquoise wateren, het is 50 m bij 70 m breed en ongeveer 20 m diep. Het sinkhole werd gevormd door een instorting van de oppervlaktelaag als gevolg van het oplossen van de onderliggende kalksteen. [De lokale bevolking gelooft echter dat het is gemaakt door een meteoriet, 'Hawaiyat Najm', wat zich vertaalt naar 'The Falling Star' in het Arabisch, en vandaar de naam. Om het zinkgat te behouden, ontwikkelde de plaatselijke gemeente een park, het Hawiyat Najm-park (Haweat Najm-park), daaromheen, samen met een trap die naar het meer leidde.

Optie 1 : Hotel pick-up (groeps- en privétours) Voor groepsrondleidingen vindt ophalen plaats 30 tot 60 minuten voor aanvang van de rondleiding. Zorg dat u klaarstaat in de lobby van uw hotel tijdens dit venster. Voor privétours wordt de pick-up op het exacte tijdstip gekozen voor de tour. Zoek een voertuig met ons bedrijfslogo en een vriendelijke chauffeur die uw boekingsgegevens zal bevestigen. We sturen een herinnering en bevestigen je ophaaltijd via WhatsApp. Zorg ervoor dat het telefoonnummer dat u tijdens het boeken hebt opgegeven correct en actief is. Voor eventuele zorgen of speciale instructies, voel je vrij om contact met ons op voorhand. Optie 2 : Pick-up van ontmoetingspunten begint 30 tot 60 minuten voor aanvang van de tour Reizigers die een van de twee ontmoetingspunten kiezen, moeten aankomen bij Al Fair (الفير) in de buurt van Shell Gas Station Sarooj, op slechts 5-7 minuten lopen van het Sarooj Bridge_2 busstation of naar Mc'Donalds in de buurt van City Center Mall (NOT Inside City Center), 10 - 15 minuten voor aanvang van de tour. Everything was fine - plenty of water on the bus to make sure everyone stayed hydrated. The hiking speed was fully aligned to accommodate slow walkers. The challenge is the heat, not the terrain. I wouldn't recommend the trip for people who can't swim - the cave does require some swimming. Great option for solo travellers who don't drive.

I had an absolutely great day, thanks to good communication and sufficient information given prior to the trip. Everything was so well organised, and I was able to full enjoy the natural pools of Wadi Shab. We were only able to have packaged snacks before visiting the sinkhole because restaurants weren't open in the day due to Ramadan, otherwise, I'd say it's pretty much a perfect day. Mohammed was the perfect guide for this trip as he guided us through multiple pools to reach the cave, where we secured some great videos diving from the rock. He knows the place inside out so can make the experience extra adventurous. It's a good workout as well with the scenic hike and swimming.

This is truly a must-see if you're in the world, and when you have an excellent guide like Rachid, it's absolutely fantastic! Be sure to be in excellent physical condition and wear water shoes with a good grip, as the rocks can be very slippery, but the scenery and swimming in this Whadi make it well worth it. Even though it was Ramadan, we still got a delicious hot lunch to eat in the van. Our group was 10, which was ideal. Thanks again to Rachid for guiding us safely through everything. The stop at the sinkhole was nice to stretch your legs, but it's certainly not a must.

We booked out tour through GidOman and had the pleasure of having Rashid as our guide for thr day. We were part of a larger group, and Rashid was incredibly personable, professional, friendly, and charming. Despite there being some weaker swimmer in the griup, he remained patient throughout and made sure everyone felt safe and supported. Rashis is a credit to GidOman. To top it all off, he kindly treated the whole group to ice cream after a long day exploring the Wadi's and the Sinkhole-such a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more memorable!
