Ontdek de ongelooflijke oase van Wadi Shab - een van de laatste plaatsen in Oman waar u kunt chillen in fris blauw water, omringd door bergen. Begin de tour met ophalen bij je hotel in Muscat of ontmoetingspunt (afhankelijk van de geselecteerde optie). Stap in een voertuig met airconditioning en vertrek op een 2 uur durende schilderachtige rit door de buitenwereldse landschappen van Oman. Onderweg stop je bij een lokale coffeeshop om een verkwikkende Omaanse thee te proberen. Wanneer u op uw bestemming aankomt, verborgen in de canyon van de droge rivier Wadi-Shab, maakt u een zeer snelle boottocht naar de andere kant van de oever. Van hieruit begint u aan uw 40 minuten durende wandeling. Ervaar tijdens de wandeling de ontzagwekkende kracht van de natuur die de rotsformaties van deze indrukwekkende canyon heeft gesmeed. Op de terugweg stop je om een prachtig meer te zien gelegen in het Bimmah Sinkhole. Tenslotte keert u terug naar het voertuig en begint u aan de rit terug naar Muscat waar u wordt afgezet bij uw hotel of ontmoetingspunt (afhankelijk van de geselecteerde optie).

Ontdek Wadi Shab: een natuurlijk juweel van Oman Begin aan een adembenemende reis naar Wadi Shab, een van de meest gewilde natuurlijke attracties van Oman. Deze kloof, gelegen in het hart van de Al Sharqiyah-regio, biedt een schilderachtige mix van heldere zoetwaterpoelen, watervallen en majestueuze kliffen. Onze tourbeloften: Verbluffend landschap: Dwaal door terrasvormige plantages, glinsterende wateren en dramatische rotsformaties die verhalen vertellen over het vakmanschap van de natuur gedurende millennia. Verfrissende duikjes: terwijl de zon van Omani schijnt, duik je in smaragdgroene poelen om af te koelen, of daag jezelf uit met een duik naar een verborgen waterval in een afgelegen grot. Memorabele wandelingen: bewandel platgetreden paden en waad af en toe door zacht water, waardoor uw reis net zo opwindend wordt als de bestemming. Lokaal inzicht: onze deskundige gidsen delen de kennis van het land en zorgen voor een rijke en geïnformeerde ervaring.
De lunch wordt geserveerd in een lokaal café en bestaat uit kip of vis met rijst, verse salades en een verfrissend citroenmuntdrankje. Er is een vegetarische optie beschikbaar.
Bimmah Sinkhole is een met water gevulde depressie, structureel een sinkhole, in de kalksteen van het oostelijke Gouvernement Muscat in het Sultanaat van Oman. Een meer met turquoise wateren, het is 50 m bij 70 m breed en ongeveer 20 m diep. Het ligt op slechts ongeveer 600 meter van de zee, tussen de kustplaatsen Ḑibāb en Bimmah. Het zinkgat werd gevormd door een ineenstorting van de oppervlaktelaag als gevolg van het oplossen van de onderliggende kalksteen. De lokale bevolking gelooft echter dat het is gemaakt door een meteoriet, 'Hawaiyat Najm', wat zich vertaalt naar 'The Falling Star' in het Arabisch, en vandaar de naam. Om het zinkgat te behouden, ontwikkelde de plaatselijke gemeente er een park omheen, Hawiyat Najm Park, samen met een trap die naar het meer leidt.

Optie 1 : Hotel pick-up (groeps- en privétours) Voor groepsrondleidingen vindt ophalen plaats 30 tot 60 minuten voor aanvang van de rondleiding. Zorg dat u klaarstaat in de lobby van uw hotel tijdens dit venster. Voor privétours wordt de pick-up op het exacte tijdstip gekozen voor de tour. Zoek een voertuig met ons bedrijfslogo en een vriendelijke chauffeur die uw boekingsgegevens zal bevestigen. We sturen een herinnering en bevestigen je ophaaltijd via WhatsApp. Zorg ervoor dat het telefoonnummer dat u tijdens het boeken hebt opgegeven correct en actief is. Voor eventuele zorgen of speciale instructies, voel je vrij om contact met ons op voorhand. Optie 2 : Pick-up van ontmoetingspunten begint 30 tot 60 minuten voor aanvang van de tour Reizigers die voor de verzamelpuntoptie kiezen, moeten aankomen bij Al Fair (الفير) in de buurt van Shell Tankstation Sarooj , op slechts 5 - 7 minuten lopen van het busstation Sarooj Bridge_2, 10 - 15 minuten voor aanvang van de tour. Of Reizigers kunnen aankomen in Mc'Donalds in de buurt van City Center Mall, in de buurt van Shell Tankstation Parkeren is mogelijk bij het verzamelpunt voor deze tour. Optie 3: Alleen Wadi Shab (ontmoeting op parkeerplaats Wadi Shab) Deze optie is voor degenen die Wadi Shab zelfstandig bereiken (auto, taxi). Ontmoet bij Wadi Shab parking. Bezoek aan Bimmah Sinkhole en lunch zijn niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs.

We did the Wadi Shab + Bimmah sink hole tour with our exceptional guide Qais who had great knowledge and exceptional enthusiasm for his work. He gave us spot on information about what to expect during the hike - it was quite hot which made the hike even more challenging but Qais made sure his group was comfortable, well hydrated and well looked after. Bonus, he has an amazing sense of humour :) The pick up was smooth, perfect communication from Qais, who also dropped off an item I had forgotten in his van. The tour guide was soo very helpful as I booked this trip for my parents and they said they loved it. He looked after them very well and they said the area was beautiful and tour guide explain the history of each part in a lot of detail which was great. The hike is not long but is uneven and rocky terrain. You should be able to handle 1.5 hours of this. The valley is stunning and the water is clear and beautiful. The swim into the cave is such a thrill. Our guide Mohammad was delightful. He took such good care of us and shared history of the region as well as personal stories to help us understand and appreciate Omani culture. The highlight of my trip to Oman.

It was a fantastic experience. We had a great day full of adventurous. The trip was much better than we had expected. I would definitely recommend it! The meeting point was at a convenient location where we were able to leave our car for the day for free. Our guide - Mohammed Aldighaishi, was such a nice, friendly and helpful guy. He looked after our group so well, making sure everyone was safe and happy. Thanks to Mohammed we have learned a lot of interesting things about Oman. If I could add one more thing I would suggest that perhaps you could highlight there is a possibility of renting or buying the water shoes, waterproof bags and phone cases for a small amount of money at the site.

Our journey began in the early hours of the morning: soft light, warm wind and the feeling that the day had something special in store for us. First, a boat through the emerald water, then a path between the rocks, where each turn turned what seemed to be a new page in ancient history. The stones shone with ochre and gold, and the water beckoned with its transparency. And that's where the real magic begins. Our instructor Dmitry is a man with solar energy and confident charisma. He doesn't just lead the way -- he's inspiring. Supportive, joking, cheerful and sure to notice when you need to add courage. Swimming between rocks, diving into cool turquoise and sneaking into a hidden cave with a waterfall is not just an adventure. It's about getting back to yourself. The moment when fear dissolves and instead comes delight and childish joy. At some point, I caught myself thinking, life is like this canyon. The road seems difficult at first, but once you trust the flow, step forward, and you discover incredible beauty. If you're looking for a place where you can feel freedom, the power of nature and your own courage, here you go. And if a guide like Dmitry is around, the journey will become a story that you want to tell over and over again.
