Laat de typische lange wachttijden achter je en maak een onvergetelijke exprestour van een halve dag door El Yunque, het enige Puerto Rico Caribische tropische regenwoud in de VS. Maar dit is de onverwachte twist: na het verkennen van de populaire plekken - glijden van de opwindende natuurlijke waterglijbaan van 6 meter, slingeren aan een touw in een junglezwembad en klifspringen van gedurfde hoogten - leidt je gids je naar een verborgen deel van de jungle, een geheim pad dat alleen bekend is bij de lokale bevolking. Dit pad brengt je naar een El Yunque Rainforest afgelegen lagune met trapsgewijze watervallen die eruit zien alsof ze thuishoren in een ansichtkaart. Je hebt tijd om te ontspannen, te zwemmen en zelfs een verborgen grot achter de watervallen te verkennen – een waar jungleparadijs dat aanvoelt alsof het alleen voor jou is. We beginnen met het ophalen van onze klanten in de prachtige stad San Juan. Zodra we alle deelnemers in de groep hebben, rijden we naar het regenwoudgebied en genieten we van de verschillende uitzichten rond Puerto Rico. Ervaar de verschillende levensstijlen die je in ons paradijs kunt vinden, van stad tot land.
KLEINE GROEPEN IS BETER! Maximaal 11 deelnemers per gids! El Yunque National Forest! Bij aankomst leidt onze gecertificeerde gids u door deze geweldige geheime plek van "El Yunque". In dit gebied verkent u de modderpaden en het weelderige groen van het regenwoud. De wandeling duurt in totaal ongeveer 1,5 mijl en duurt ongeveer twintig minuten om het eerste badgebied te bereiken en nog eens tien minuten wandelen over rotsen om bij de waterglijbaan te komen. We brengen ongeveer 2 uur door in het regenwoud waar we zwemmen, aan het touw slingeren als Tarzan, van een natuurlijke waterglijbaan glijden, afkoelen onder de waterval en van verschillende kliffen springen, of gewoon ontspannen en foto's maken, in het frisse water stappen en genieten van het geweldige uitzicht, deelnemers zijn niet verplicht om de avontuurlijke activiteiten te doen.

Afhankelijk van het aantal ophaalstops kunnen we tot 30 minuten voor het door u geselecteerde schema beginnen met ophalen!

- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- Minimumleeftijd voor kinderen 7+
- Deze tour vereist een goede fysieke conditie. Als u een gezondheidstoestand heeft, dient u dit bij het reserveren aan ons door te geven.
- Maximaal aanbevolen gewicht 275 pond
- Soms zijn sommige activiteiten niet beschikbaar vanwege weersomstandigheden
- Aanbevolen maximumleeftijd 65 jaar bij goede gezondheidsomstandigheden
- Draag comfortabele kleding en schoenen met gesloten neus die vuil of nat mogen worden. Waterschoenen, sportschoenen of wandelschoenen worden aanbevolen.
- . Deelnemers moeten fysiek in staat zijn om zonder hulp door steile, rotsachtige, modderige en oneffen oppervlakken te lopen
- Gebruik van zwemvest en helm is verplicht.
- Deze tour werkt op basis van weers- en rivieromstandigheden.
- Op zaterdag is de wandeling langer en uitdagender omdat we vanaf een ander punt vertrekken.
- Rugklachten en zwangere vrouwen kunnen niet deelnemen aan de tour.
- San Juan Tours behoudt zich het recht op toegang voor - Als een persoon onder invloed lijkt te zijn van alcohol of drugs, de instructies niet opvolgt of verstoringen veroorzaakt, heeft de gids het recht om de reservering op elk moment te annuleren. Er vindt geen restitutie plaats vanwege dit. Personen met de eerder genoemde gezondheidsbeperkingen kunnen niet deelnemen aan de tour. Er wordt geen restitutie verleend als een persoon nalaat de volledige beschrijving te lezen en niet voldoet aan de veiligheidseisen en beperkingen op de dag van de tour. Reizigers moeten een matig fysiek fitheidsniveau hebben
- Deze tour vereist een minimum aantal van 3 deelnemers. Als het minimum niet wordt gehaald met alle totale boekingen, zou de tour worden opgeschort. Klanten krijgen de kans om te verzetten of krijgen terugbetaald.

Not a great experience. Didn’t go to the national park main entrance . No visitors center. The tour guide is huge into safety- which is great but felt over the top for the experience. Not worth the money and felt disorganized.

Our tour description clearly outlines the areas of El Yunque National Forest that we visit, and the Visitor Center / main entrance is not part of this specific adventure tour. Guests looking for a more relaxed, sightseeing-focused experience that includes the Visitor Center are better suited for our easy-going bus tour, which is designed specifically for that purpose. This experience is an active, guided adventure, focused on hiking, river areas, and natural features like waterfalls and rock formations—not the main paved visitor facilities. For that reason, safety protocols (including equipment and guidance) are a key part of the experience, especially given the terrain and water conditions. We’re sorry to hear the tour did not match your expectations, but everything provided was consistent with what is described prior to booking. We always encourage guests to review the tour details carefully so they can select the experience that best fits what they’re looking for. This was a great tour. It is extreme though so if you have any medical issues or not steady on your feet, don't do it. We had a great time though. One of my favorite things on our trip.
