BELANGRIJK - Er is een dresscode voor deze tour en neem 5K cash mee!! Jongens moeten een broek dragen voor de laatste club!! Zwemkleding, sandalen, hoeden, sportkleding en zonnebrillen zijn NIET toegestaan! Verder staan we ook geen aspecten van sekstoerisme toe. Wij zijn een groep lokale vrienden die barcrawls organiseren in Colombia. We wilden buitenlanders en toeristen een unieke "locals' experience" geven, dus begonnen we met deze bar crawls. Deze barcrawl bestaat uit 1 lokale bar, de beroemde "salsastraat", 1 salsaclub en 1 dansclub; allemaal gelegen in de uitgaanswijk Cali. Het noorden van Cali is een van de meest populaire uitgaansgebieden onder de lokale bevolking en toeristen in Cali. We ontmoeten elkaar aan de eerste bar om 20:30 uur om samen te komen en te converseren. We gaan dan elk uur naar de volgende bars, om uiteindelijk af te sluiten bij Espacio 10 - 60 om 12 uur : 15 uur. Soms komen ook locals op onze crawls, dus je hebt misschien de mogelijkheid om contact te maken met sommige Colombianen en je Spaans te oefenen!

De eerste locatie op onze tour is La Colina Tertuliadero. Deze bar is zeer lokaal en heeft een fantastische, vriendelijke omgeving.
De tweede locatie op onze tour is de beroemde La Calle Del Sabor ("Salsastraat"). Deze straat is een uiterst unieke gebeurtenis voor Cali en je moet absoluut de sfeer ervaren. Elke vrijdagavond organiseert het stadsbestuur live bands en DJ's in deze straat om salsamuziek te draaien. Locals pakken in om salsa met elkaar te dansen. U kunt bier kopen in de straat als je wilt.
Onze derde locatie is misschien wel de beste salsa club in Cali. La Topa herbergt enkele van de meest ongelooflijke salsadansers ter wereld. De club zit altijd vol met locals en buitenlanders - durven hun salsa moves te demonstreren. Als salsa nieuw voor je is, maak je dan geen zorgen. De club is erg Groentje vriendelijk, met de lokale bevolking bereid om degenen die nieuw zijn in salsa te helpen oefenen hun stappen. Hier ontvangt u een kortingsdekking van 15k COP.
Met 3 verschillende verdiepingen bestaande uit salsa, techno en crossover muziek is Espacio 10 - 60 de perfecte locatie om je avond af te sluiten. Deze club heeft een geweldig uitzicht over de stad en serveert zeer betaalbare cocktails (en flessen). Espacio is uitgegroeid tot een nauwe rivaal als favoriet van de lokale top - bijna voorbij La Pergola. Hier ontvangt u een afgeprijsde cover van 5k COP.

Super recommended. Gaby and Diego are the best companions. We met amazing places and they were super friendly.
Our guide was Luisa, super friendly and welcoming. The night started off at a bar where we got to know other people in the group. We then headed into the centre of town to another bar where we received a free beer. We danced there for a while before moving to the "Calle del Sabor" very crowded but amazing atmosphere. There followed another 2 clubs, one was a mix of ages and played just salsa, its was exactly what I wanted in a salsa club!! The last one 10-60 which played a mix of salsa, electronic and reggaeton was full of a younger crowd but also a great atmosphere! All in all I would commend as a way to get a taste of salsa in Cali.
I had such a great time with Gabriella and Diego. They were very knowledgeable about the city and the bars we went to. They taught me how to salsa and I can’t even dance lol. Overall I had an amazing experience and made some new friends. I would highly recommended attending the bar crawl.

Overall, I personally enjoyed this experience and I’m glad I did it! The original meeting location was changed from the itinerary, but the new spot was fine. I really appreciated that a group chat was created beforehand, it made it easy to connect with everyone and set the vibe early. The first bar had more of a USA vibe than Colombia, but it was nice that we could have separate bills. That definitely made things smoother. When we moved to the next location, we had to order our own Uber because the guides weren’t able to transfer or place the orders for us. That part felt a bit unorganized, especially since it ended up costing more than expected. I think that detail should be figured out in advance so guests don’t feel like they’re paying more than expected especially when not mentioned in the itinerary. The energy on “salsa street” was lively and fun, definitely interesting and very Cali Ave though we stationed right in front of the porta potties for a while. The final salsa club had great music and true salsa vibes, but it was extremely packed. We couldn’t even sit in the live music area, which took away from what could’ve been a more authentic experience. I think this tour has great potential. With better coordination between the venues and clearer operational planning, it could feel more seamless and immersive - even if that means charging a bit more to ensure the experience is fully set up and curated. Still, I had a good time and loved experiencing Cali’s salsa culture.
Hi Amy! Thank you so much for your review and we are so sorry about the Uber situation. There was some issues with finding cars on Friday. We tried to reach out in the group chat to reimburse whoever paid for the Uber and we will definitely reimburse whoever did pay it if they would like to respond in the group chat!
