Het is een prachtig uitzichtpunt richting de stad die ongeveer 9 kilometer van Cali ligt en het Andesgebergte beklimt langs een route vol bochten. Het is het grootste en meest representatieve monument van Cali gemaakt van ijzer en beton, de massa is ongeveer. 646 ton en 26 meter hoog, waardoor het een van de meest emblematische punten van Cali . is
Als we nog 13 kilometer de Montaña de los Andes beklimmen, vinden we dit prachtige uitzichtpunt richting de bergketen genaamd de Vrouwe van de Andes, beter bekend als de "Maagd van Yanaconas". Deze prachtige maagd werd gebouwd op initiatief van de gebroeders Maristen ter gelegenheid van de herdenking van het Mariajaar, het is een uitkijkpunt op het Andeslandschap met een monument van ijzer en beton. Voor het gebouw waren 44.350 stenen en 1.033 zakken beton nodig, klimmend per muilezel.

Als je ervaring hebt en een rijbewijs, mag je samen met een begeleider een motor besturen. Als u geen ervaring heeft en u bent een vrouw, kunt u als reisgezel reizen. Vanwege plaatselijke beperkingen mag de gezelschapsdier uitsluitend een vrouw zijn.

I took a chance at riding a motorcycle here in Colombia because of the chaotic traffic. But boy was I pleasantly surprised!!!The owner, Juan Miguel gives you a thorough safety course, tells you hand signals and other ways to safely navigate through Cali. Also he accompanies, constantly monitoring your driving and safety. We stop at points of interest (Christo Rey, Virgen de and he explains and gives details of the area. Definitely worth the price, unforgettable experience. Book it! You will not regret it!

I had a wonderful experience with my guide and now friend Miguel, he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—he shared so many interesting stories about the city and the local nature. The ride up to Cristo Rey and through the mountains was easy and felt very safe. Miguel also brought along snacks and drinks, which was a thoughtful touch. He’s a great guide and a genuinely kind person. I’m so glad I took this tour—highly recommended for anyone visiting Cali!

Where do I even start???… 5-hour bike tour even including restaurant tours with an exceptional tour guide. Our guide made arrangements for a pickup and drop off at our hotel that myself and partner really appreciated. I must say if you enjoy storytelling and adventures, this trip surpasses every other journey. He began by giving us a brief informative explanation on how to ride the Harley bike and I must confess that was the first time ever riding a Harley hahaha. He was very patient with me and he gave me a trial test run to get comfortable with the bike. I was nervous at first, but our guide made it easy. Nevertheless, we journeyed to the mountains and he escorted us to the most breathtaking taking view points of Cali Colombia, giving history of each and every landmark that we saw. Our tour also consisted of visiting an artisanal village that is filled with outstanding restaurants, coffee, locally made ice creams, printing business, etc. I must commend our guide. Juan Miguel Vargas Mendivelso has the colombian handprint that made tour enjoyable with his compelling attitude towards each and every landmark. His knowledge, patriotic love, and the routes he chose for us to gain as much understanding of the way of life in Cali Colombia was very educating and amazing experience. Colombia is one place I grew to love from the very first time I arrived to the country, appreciating it for its beauty, architecture and the persons whom reside here are very friendly and caring. I do hope with this review he gains a higher recognition and exposure he desires to improve his enthusiasm and love for his country. Juan Miguel is the definition of what it is to be a "PATRIOTIC COLOMBIANO!", filled with great attributes, a patient and riendly personality and expertise that im sure every visitor of Colombia can appreciate and love. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed touring Cali on motorcycles. Juan Miguel also took us on a walking tour of San Antonio which is a beautiful neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and shops. Juan Miguel offers a lot more than a bike tour for sure. Tip, if you know how to ride Juan Miguel will provide a bike for you if not he will need to hire another driver which is what we did and it worked out great. The bikes are very comfortable and handle well with two people on them. I highly recommend this tour.

I was hoping to do everything in Cali, except ride a motorcycle. My guide Juan very knowledgeable, gave me the instructions for driving the new bike and the safest way to travel in Cali. Juan's attention was excellent. He took care of all the photos so I could focus on enjoying the tour. The routes are great, nice curves and little traffic vehicles. The spectacular motorbike views. One of the best tours of my life.
