Volledige dagwandeling naar Caminito del Rey

We halen u op bij het startpunt waar we ons geen zorgen hoeven te maken over het parkeren van ons vervoermiddel op een parkeerplaats en we keren op de terugweg terug naar hetzelfde punt. Gedurende de excursie worden we begeleid door een gids in verschillende talen die verantwoordelijk is voor het beheer van de tickets zonder in de rij te hoeven wachten en die tijdens de tour graag aan alle behoeften zal voldoen. Met een lokale Caminito-gids maken we een wandeltocht langs paden en looppaden in een natuurgebied, waarbij we aan het einde van de route een hangbrug van meer dan 100 meter hoog oversteken. We raden een vorm van bescherming aan in de wintermaanden, omdat het koud kan worden.

We maken een wandeltocht van ongeveer 7,7 kilometer langs paden en loopbruggen, die aan het einde van de tour oversteken door een hangbrug met een hoogte van ongeveer 100 meter. We beginnen met het maken van een route van 2 km naar het controlepunt waar ze ons allemaal een beschermende helm zullen geven en ze zullen controleren of we het juiste schoeisel dragen voordat we aan de tour beginnen. We beginnen bij het stuwmeer van Gaitanejo, we gaan door de eerste kloof, Desfiladero del Gaitanejo, amper 10 meter breed, daar vinden we het begin van de eerste loopbrug. Daarna passeren we El Soto, gelegen tussen de canyons van de Gaitanejo-kloof en de Tajo de las Palomas, waar de koningsbrug zich bevindt. We zullen luisteren naar het geluid van het water dat door de Valle del Hoyo stroomt. In de Desfiladero de los Gaitanes zullen we toegang krijgen tot de loopbruggen die meer dan 100 meter hoog zijn en eindigen met de Avenida del Caminito del Rey, een pad dat ons naar het El Chorro-station brengt.

Fabulous experience! The hike was not strenuous (for a 71 yr old) and for me, the heights were not an issue. The official guide (Sandro?) was excellent!

Nice walk, too bad for us, it was not very nice (a little rain even) it changes everything about the brightness and color of the water but the gorges are still impressive... The history of this place is interesting... service a little expensive when you see the price of a ticket bought locally...

Fantastic route and nice guide. Only negative comment is that an activity that starts 1:20 pm and ends 6:30 pm is not a full day activity, it is a half day! Furthermore, the guide and bus runs two groups after each other on one day, so it is obviously a half day.

The Caminito del Rey was really amazing to see. As we had a guided tour we where suspecting that the guide would tell us lots about the history and further information. Instead she just gave us the tickets and told us to just follow the road and meet up at the end. This was really strange i think. So no the tour was not that good and we could have done it without a guide what really reduces the price a lot. Once but not again such ashame
I am very sorry that you did not like how the excursion has been carried out. The guide gives all the explanation on the bus journey from Malaga to the Caminito del Rey. Within the Caminito we do not give explanations since in many places there is not enough distance to give explanations to a group and it cannot be done due to the COVID restrictions. I hope you have a better time next time
