Voor veel plezier onder de zon kun je een dag op South Sea Island niet overtreffen. Ca. 30 minuten veerboot vanuit Port Denarau. Het is misschien klein van formaat, maar er is genoeg om je bezig te houden. Het moeilijkste deel is om te kiezen wat je eerst gaat doen! Er is een zoutwaterzwembad en GRATIS gebruik van niet-gemotoriseerde watersportuitrusting, waaronder kajakken en zeilen. Ontdek de onderwaterwereld met uren snorkelen of spring aan boord van de semi-onderdompelbare koraalkijker. Een smakelijk BBQ-lunchbuffet, bier, wijn en frisdranken zijn inbegrepen aan de wal. Hoewel het eiland onbewoond is, kun je nog steeds een voorproefje krijgen van de Fiji-cultuur met een traditionele Meke-uitvoering en ambachtelijke markt van maandag tot zaterdag. Gratis kinderclub en GRATIS 30 minuten WiFi worden ook aangeboden tijdens deze tour Duiken (extra kosten). Het is misschien klein van formaat, maar er is genoeg om je bezig te houden. Het moeilijkste deel is om te kiezen wat je eerst gaat doen! Introductieduiken (extra kosten) is een bijzondere focus op dit eiland met mooie rifformaties en overvloedige vissen, waardoor het de droom van een eerste keer duiker is. Begin in het zwembad en verken vervolgens de prachtige koraaltuinen en het vissenleven rondom het eiland tijdens een 'Discover Scuba'-introductieduik. Er is ook genoeg om gecertificeerde duikers geamuseerd te houden, met verschillende strandduiken en een doelbewust gezonken schipbreuk. Als u in dit gebied duikt, kunt u drop-offs en muurduiken tegenkomen met veel harde koralen, kristalhelder water en grote scholen pelagische vissen.

Houd er rekening mee dat de vertrektijd die op uw tour wordt weergegeven de VERTREKTIJD VAN HET SCHIP VANAF PORT DEANRAU is, NIET DE OPHAALTIJD VAN UW COACH. Als u een hotel pick-up nodig heeft, selecteer dan uw hotel uit de lijst met pick-up punten in uw boekingsproces. Alle bustransfers moeten ten minste de dag voor uw tour vooraf worden geboekt bij ons reserveringskantoor door te bellen naar ons callcenter. De bus pick-ups beginnen ongeveer 75 minuten voordat het schip vertrekt uit Port Denarau. - De boot voor klanten uit de regio Nadi en Denarau vertrekt om 9.00 uur vanuit Port Denarau en keert om 18.00 uur terug naar Denarau.
- De boot voor klanten van Coral Coast vertrekt om 10.00 uur uit Port Denarau en keert om 17.00 uur terug naar Denarau
- In het geval van ongunstige weers- en zeeomstandigheden behouden we ons het recht voor om alle activiteiten op het water te annuleren, inclusief snorkelen, paddleboarden, kajakken en het Subsea Adventure in ons semi-afzinkbare voertuig.

Better for swimming than Malamala. Lovely and relaxing space. Great service too. Fantastic food. Nice hammocks and chairs.
Beautiful day out!! Lots of comfortable seating, felt great whether you were travelling as a family group or a smaller pairing. We did the full day trip and it was lovely, free basic alcohol or soda’s were available, and there was plenty of comfortable seating. There were two activities offered: glass bottom boat ride, and the reef edge snorkelling. I did the snorkelling (although you could do both) and it was awesome! Felt very safe in the water with the guide leading us back to shore, saw some beautiful fish and all around was a great experience. The full day trip felt made a tad too long but it was nice to see the sun starting to set as we made our way home on the boat. There was an option to leave slightly earlier which was a nice idea for some. Massages were offered at a both on the island 20, 30, 45, and 1 hour sessions for a cost. Me and my sister paid $45fjd each for a 30 min massage. These massages were the only down fall of the trip unfortunately. The massage therapist was too heavy handed for both of us to the point of pain, my sister feels bruised days later on her shoulders, even after asking the masseuse to be more gentle. The island entertainment group was awesome, and we got to watch along with eating our delicious lunch that was provided. Honestly a very very nice day all around and we would go again.
Super fun time! Super smooth from booking to getting boarding passes to sailing and the island. Staff were fantastic and willing to help!!! Island was lots of fun!!!
It was very windy on the day making it not really a good day for any activities, the food was okay. The free drinks are a bonus as you do a lot of lying around on windy days. There is no real sand around the water either it makes for sore feet. The team were great in helping load the boats to leave as it was windy and low tide making it really hard for everyone.

Small island, food wasn’t too bad. Pool is very small. The water can be very rough at times which they close of the activity which can make the day boring

You should save your money Everything looks beautiful in the photo. The beach is almost impassable without water shoes due to many coral and shell fragments.

relaxing day on island , good food ,culture dancing drinks included . snorkeling average on the day but you cannot control weather or tides great staff on the island , not a long ferry trip if you have young family

Very beautiful island, food of great quality and quantity. I recommend! The island is very small, about 10 minutes to walk around.

We booked a full day tour from Nadi to South Sea Island. Sadly on our trip it rained. However, it is the experience that counts and the boat sail to South Sea Island went by Malamala Island first. Smaller boats took us from the boat that brought us to the island. The sun came and went. The lunch was extraordinary and plentiful for all who were in attendance. Even seconds given for some. The drinks were never ending. As with anywhere else in Fiji, the people are very welcoming and friendly. Could not do enough. For some visitors who appeared to be in greater need of attention, the locals were too obliging. My only recommendation to South Sea Cruises is not play loud music on the island. I am thinking most of the visitors do not live near the sea with the sounds of waves and the wind through the trees. The loud music takes that experience away. Would I recommend this tour? Absolutely.
