Cruisin' Fiji is een dagcruise die door een familie wordt beheerd en die een authentieke Fiji-ervaring met een persoonlijk tintje biedt. We houden onze gastenaantallen laag, het creëren van een ontspannen sfeer waar u wordt verwelkomd als een deel van het gezin. In één onvergetelijke dag bezoekt u drie iconische locaties op de Mamanuca-eilanden: Mana Sand Bar, Monu Cove en Monuriki Island. Zwem, snorkel en verken het kristalheldere water voordat je aankomt bij Monuriki, de beroemde filmlocatie van Cast Away. Belangrijker is dat Monuriki deel uitmaakt van het voorouderlijke land van onze familie, waardoor dit een echt unieke en betekenisvolle ervaring is. Geniet van een traditionele Fijische lovo lunch, kokosnoot demonstratie, begeleide eilandwandeling, optionele bergwandeling, zelfgemaakt Fijisch bananenbrood en echte lokale gastvrijheid gedeeld door de mensen die deze eilanden thuis noemen.

Vertrek vanuit Port Denarau, uw eerste stop is Mana Sand Bar – een afgelegen stuk wit zand omgeven door het turquoise water van de Mamanuca-eilanden. Geniet van een begeleide snorkelervaring vlak bij het rif, waar je de kans hebt om kleurrijk koraal en tropische vissen te zien in helder, ondiep water. Er is ook genoeg tijd om te zwemmen, te ontspannen of foto’s te maken van een van de mooiste zandbanken van Fiji, onlangs nog te zien als openingslocatie voor Survivor US Season 50. Geniet voor vertrek van een lichte ochtendthee met zelfgebakken Fiji-bananenbrood, vers gebakken in ons dorp voor de cruise van de dag.
Na een schilderachtige 20-30 minuten durende cruise van Mana Sand Bar, kom je aan bij Monu Cove, een beschutte baai omringd door vulkanische kliffen en kristalhelder water. Zwemmen, snorkelen of gewoon ontspannen tijdens het verkennen van een ander prachtig rif op de Mamanuca-eilanden. Als u avontuurlijk bent, bent u van harte welkom om deel te nemen aan onze kenmerkende splash-wedstrijd vanaf de boot - een favoriet van gasten op elke cruise. Met rustige omstandigheden en een overvloed aan zeeleven, biedt Monu Cove nog een onvergetelijke kans om Fiji boven en onder water te ervaren.
Na een korte cruise van 10 minuten vanaf Monu Cove kom je aan op Monuriki Island, beroemd als de filmlocatie van Cast Away met Tom Hanks in de hoofdrol. Voor onze familie is Monuriki echter veel meer dan een filmlocatie – dit is ons voorouderlijke land en we zijn er trots op gasten te verwelkomen op een plek met een diepe culturele betekenis. Breng meer dan twee uur door met het verkennen van het eiland met onze lokale gidsen. Bezoek iconische Cast Away-filmlocaties, hoor verhalen over de geschiedenis van het eiland, geniet van een traditionele demonstratie kokosnootdoppen of maak de optionele wandeling naar de top voor een panoramisch uitzicht over de Mamanuca-eilanden. Geniet van een authentieke Fijiaanse lovo lunch onder onze handgemaakte bures, ondergronds gekookt met traditionele methoden en geserveerd met lokale favorieten, waaronder kip, wortelgroenten, rourou, tropisch fruit en de beroemde kokosnoot miti saus van onze familie. Voordat u terugkeert naar Port Denarau, is er tijd om te ontspannen, zwemmen of gewoon genieten van het eiland in uw eigen tempo.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Als u buiten Denarau Island verblijft, kan er tegen een toeslag vervoer van/naar de luchthaven worden geregeld. Zodra uw boeking is bevestigd, neemt ons team contact met u op met een transportofferte en uw geplande ophaaltijd. Let op : Onze cruise vertrekt stipt vanaf Port Denarau Marina om 9.00 uur, dus de ophaaltijden worden dienovereenkomstig gepland. Houd uw berichten na het boeken in de gaten. Als u wilt, kunt u ook uw eigen vervoer naar Port Denarau Marina regelen via uw hotel of resort. Eventuele van toepassing zijnde transferkosten zijn apart te betalen op de dag bij onze Cruisin’ Fiji Booth. Wij accepteren contant geld of creditcard.

- Cruisen op Fiji-cruises is onderhevig aan zee- en weersomstandigheden, vooral in het belang van de veiligheid van passagiers.
- Er zijn beperkte medische voorzieningen in het gebied waar we reizen en beperkte medische apparatuur op onze boot, dus als er zich een medisch probleem voordoet, wordt u per boot teruggebracht naar Nadi (op uw kosten) of indien mogelijk per helikopter (op uw kosten). Het is raadzaam dat u een geldige reisverzekering heeft die alle kosten van medische noodgevallen dekt.
- Vanaf 1 januari 2025 wordt bij het inchecken een vertrektoeslag van FJD $ 3 per passagier in rekening gebracht. Deze vergoeding wordt in rekening gebracht door Denarau Marina

We had a wonderful experience snorkeling, swimming and enjoying the beauty of the islands. The guides treated us like family and were very caring and accommodating to all. We will definitely recommend this tour to other family visiting! We loved it!

We had an excellent experience with Cruisin Fiji! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and organized from start to finish. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the crew made sure everyone felt safe while still having a fun, relaxing day. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and there were plenty of opportunities to swim, snorkel, and enjoy the islands. Lunch was delicious, and the crew was attentive throughout the trip. If you're visiting Fiji and looking for a memorable day on the water, I would definitely recommend Cruisin Fiji. It was one of the highlights of our vacation! When you’re on this tour, you really feel integrated into their family! I found the staff to be both wonderfully casual and yet still professional; good was of a much higher caliber than similar tours I’ve been on here in Fiji, and the spots are absolutely breathtaking! They’re secluded so you really don’t feel like you’re on a tour, and you have enough free rein to really explore the places you visit. Special thanks to Tuks!

Had the most amazing day getting to explore 3 of the mamanuca islands!! There were so many colourful fish and amazing sights along the way. The team was wonderful, so friendly and so fun to be around we had Paul as our main guide, and enjoyed meeting Moe, and all the other team members. We particularly enjoyed chatting to amar about rugby! Unlimited drinks were provided along with a delicious lunch. Would definitely recommend to all, it was a fantastic day out :)

Everything was incredible, the views, the people, the experience, etc. The only complaint we have is that we both have stomach issues the day after, with cramping, vomitting and diarrhea. I believe it must have been the potato salad at the beach lunch. That is the only meal we ate that day.

We had an amazing day with Cruisin Fiji on their Survivor + Castaway filming locations tour! It was so cool to actually visit the beaches and islands where they were filmed. The water was crystal clear, the islands were untouched, and our guides were so knowledgeable and fun. They shared behind-the-scenes stories that made the whole experience even better. Snorkeling, lunch on the beach, and just soaking in Fiji’s beauty - perfect day. Highly recommend if you’re in Nadi and want something unforgettable.
