Als u op zoek bent naar een onvergetelijk avontuur in Cusco, is onze City Tour uw toegangspoort tot het hart van deze oude Inca hoofdstad. Ontdek prachtige architectuur, rijke geschiedenis en levendige cultuur terwijl je de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van Cusco bezoekt, waaronder Qorikancha, Sacsayhuamán, Tambomachay en Puka Pukara. Onder leiding van Expert gidsen neemt deze tour je mee op een reis door de tijd, met verborgen verhalen en adembenemende uitzichten. Vervolgens gaan we naar Qoricancha, wat in het Quechua 'Tempel van Goud' betekent. Het was de eerste tempel die door de Inca's werd gebouwd en die vroeger bedekt was met grote hoeveelheden goud en zilver.
We verlaten de stad Cusco om het Saqsayhuaman-complex te bezoeken, beroemd om zijn enorme megalithische stenen die meer dan 150 ton wegen. Tijdens het Inca-rijk werd het beschouwd als de Tempel van de Bliksem, gewijd aan 'de god Illapa'.
Vervolgens bezoeken we de Q'enqo-tempel, een plaats gewijd aan Pacha Mama (Moeder Aarde), waar je ingewikkelde steengravures kunt zien.
Daarna komen we aan bij het indrukwekkende Inca-fort, Puka Pukara, wat 'Rode Fort' betekent in Quechua vanwege de roodachtige stenen structuren waaruit de muren en gebouwen bestaan.
Uiteindelijk bereiken we Tambomachay, waar je de heilige tempel zult zien gewijd aan wateraanbidding, die waarschijnlijk ook diende als zuiveringsbad voor Inca-heersers. In de late namiddag keren we terug naar Cusco, waar we u afzetten bij uw hotel of, als u dat liever heeft, op de Plaza de Armas. Opmerking: de resterende tijd is voor de rondreis en de tijd voor sightseeing of verkenningen.

I am super satisfied with the choice of Peru Grand Travell, as everything went to a thousand wonders. We were 3 and had the privilege of having during all the trips and visits a guide only for us, which led us to know Cusco, its temples, its craftsmanship and art with the wool of alpaca, mud and vicuia, the history of a great civilization.
