Excursie naar het Humantay-meer Volledige dag vanuit Cusco

De Humantay Laguna Tour van 1 dag was voor natuurliefhebbers die een vrije dag hebben of bezoekers die aankomen in Cusco en de salkantay tour niet 5 dagen / 4 nachten kunnen nemen, tijdens deze wandeling zult u de flora en fauna waarderen tijdens onze reis naar de Humantay-lagune en de heilige bergen of heilige Apus als Salkantay.

De tour begint om 04:30 uur met ophalen bij je hotel in Cusco. U reist dan met de bus naar de volgende halte.
Na enige tijd op reis te zijn geweest, komt u aan in het stadje Mollepata waar u geniet van een heerlijk ontbijt voordat u de reis voortzet.
Na het ontbijt gaat u verder naar Soraypampa, waar u begint aan de wandeling naar het prachtige Humantay-meer (4.250 meter boven zeeniveau). De wandeling duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur en zodra u het meer bereikt, heeft u genoeg tijd om de majestueuze schoonheid te waarderen. Er zal ook een demonstratie zijn van een offer aan de heilige Apus, en u kunt deelnemen als u dat wenst.
Na uw tijd bij het meer daalt u terug naar Soraypampa om de bus terug te nemen naar Mollepata.
Eenmaal aangekomen in Mollepata geniet u van een heerlijke lunch voordat u verder reist.
Uiteindelijk reis je terug naar Cusco, waar je rond 18:00 uur aankomt.

Wonderful experience with héder the tour guide! The climb is challenging but you can rent a horse if you prefer. The views of the lake are breathtaking.

Heber Forever was my guide, he was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about everything very helpful and took care of everything from the start to the end. I highly recommend taking this tour with this company they were the best. He also takes good pictures
Alex was our guide for the day and was very good about keeping us moving and making sure everyone was okay and together. He took those of us who wanted to take the horses up and got us situated before starting the trek with the rest of the group. Even just the short bit up after the horses was very taxing due to the altitude, but the views were absolutely worth it. If you choose to walk instead of doing the horses, just be warned that the path is very rocky and all uphill. I took the horses up and walked down and even the walk down was difficult because of the terrain. We got about an hour and a half at the lake after we got there and Alex got our group together to head back down. Hotel pickup was timely. Breakfast was a little disappointing, but lunch was great. I took off 1 star due to the tour company, not the guide because I sat in a broken seat for the 6 hour round trip drive. I highly recommend the tour company check all the seats and inside of the van before taking it. My seat was broken and there was a box that went on the floor in the space between my seat and the seat in front of me so I had no leg room and could not straighten my legs and there were no other seats available. I was offered to sit in the middle between the driver and the guide, but after being squished for the first two hours there was no legroom and no room at all to even move an inch, where the broken seat was more comfortable than that. The couple sitting in the back said there was something leaking so only half of the back row was able to be used. Typically I wouldn’t complain, but for a 6 hour journey, it was a little ridiculous. Still recommend this tour, just check your seat before you commit to it.
Great tour for those not afraid of some hiking and who want to see great nature. Heber was a great tour guide! Coordination with team also worked well and bus was comfortable. You can also take a horse up a majority of the hike, though it costs ~100 sols

Our private tour with Alex was amazing! He was super detailed, patient, knowledgeable, and kind! I was struggling to come down the mountain on our way back and he very kindly helped me and explained bits of the history of Lake Humantay throughout various points of our journey. Would highly recommend him as a guide.
