Laat je verliefd worden op een van de mooiste steden ter wereld, Florence! Wandel door de steegjes vol geschiedenis en geniet van de charmante monumenten. Wanneer we in de stad aankomen, gaan we naar de San Lorenzo Market waar je de beste typische producten van de regio vindt en waar je heerlijke en typische koekjes kunt proeven, Cantucci genaamd. Ontdek de mooiste pleinen zoals Piazza Repubblica. Ontdek Piazza della Signoria en maak foto's van de emblematische Ponte Vecchio, zonder twijfel een van de meest waardevolle symbolen van de stad! Na onze magische stop in Florence gaan we naar Pisa, waar je het Piazza dei Miracoli kunt verkennen, dat we zullen bereiken via de Santa Maria-poort, een van de ingangen van de oude muur die de stad omringde.

I was very disappointed with this excursion. There were approximately 80 people on the tour, and because the group was bilingual, every announcement had to be made in both English and Spanish. While I understand the need to accommodate everyone, it significantly reduced the amount of useful information shared. More importantly, this was not really a guided excursion. We were simply transported to Florence, dropped off, and left on our own for approximately 2–3 hours. After that, we were transported to Pisa, where we were given about an hour of free time before returning to the ship. There was no guided sightseeing, historical commentary while exploring the cities, or organized activities. Essentially, this excursion was nothing more than transportation between locations. To make matters worse, the tour did not even provide transportation from the cruise ship to the city center where the bus departed. We had to arrange and pay for that ourselves, which cost approximately €20. Based on the description, I expected a true shore excursion with a knowledgeable guide and a more engaging experience. Instead, I paid for transportation and very limited guidance. I believe the excursion description should more clearly state that it is primarily a transfer service with independent free time rather than a guided tour. I would not recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a meaningful guided experience of Florence and Pisa.
This was a great tour with just enough time allowed to visit Florence and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The drive out and back was so comfortable in the air conditioned double decker bus, and Omi was an excellent guide. She didn’t talk too much, but was informative and answered our questions. We were a very large group, but she and John kept everything running smoothly. We had to take a shuttle from the port to town, but it is conveniently provided by the port authorities for only 7 euros round trip. Coming back they allowed our driver to bring us directly to the ship, which was very convenient. The price for this tour was so affordable and worth it!
Our guides Omi and Jhon as well as our driver,Luca were amazing. Kind and informative and funny. They made the trip very nice.
Omi and John were great guides and Luca was a safe driver. You’re able to do what you want since it’s self guided, but they also give a recommended route which was very good.
Everything was perfect! Omi, John, and Lucca were super friendly and cooperative. I definitely recommend going with them :)
Family of 7 on Norwegian cruise stop in Livorno. This tour was a great value and great information provided on Florence and Pisa. Would be nice to have a little more time in Pisa. Omi and John were fantastic. They gave us maps of both locations with suggested walking routes for both cities. Also dropped us off at the port and saved us from having to pay for shuttle back to ship. Bus was very comfy. Highly recommend!
