De wijk Fushimi gaat niet over de beroemde "Fushimi Inari" en zijn duizend poorten. Het gaat erom meer te leren over een van de belangrijkste momenten in de Japanse geschiedenis en een gebied in Kyoto te verkennen dat nog niet is veroverd door internationale reizigers en nog steeds zijn authenticiteit behoudt en een geweldige lokale sfeer weerspiegelt op slechts een paar minuten afstand van het station van Kyoto. Bezoek de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheid in Japan, de Fushimi Inari-schrijn. Je leert over de oorsprong van de geest van Inari en ontdekt een paar verborgen plekken in dat gebied die de meeste mensen niet kennen. We zullen nog steeds ons uiterste best doen om u de meest verbazingwekkende foto binnen het poortpad te geven.
Bezoek de oude Sake-distilleerderij van Gekkeikan en verken de Sake-cultuur met de allereerste distilleerderij die Japanse alcohol naar het buitenland exporteerde.
Loop langs het kanaal van Fushimi, een geweldige plek om te genieten van het buitenleven, de kersenbloesem en de schoonheid van een zeer traditionele wijk van Kyoto.
Luister naar je gids die je het verhaal vertelt van een van de belangrijkste veldslagen in de Japanse geschiedenis, die leidde tot het begin van de Meiji-restauratie.
Ontdek het verhaal van Sakamoto Ryoma, een van de belangrijkste historische personen in de Japanse geschiedenis, die bijna in zijn kamer werd vermoord door de Shinsengumi en ternauwernood kon ontsnappen.
Verken de Ryoma-winkelstraat, de gelijkwaardigheid van de "Nishiki-markt", maar die zijn authenticiteit en traditie niet heeft verloren, om er een veel gedenkwaardigere eet-, drink- en winkelervaring van te maken in Kyoto. In dit gebied heb je vrije tijd om te gaan lunchen en wat te winkelen.
We zullen genieten van traditionele Japanse zoetigheden, na de Sake-distilleerderij, en ontspannen, voordat we teruggaan naar de trein voor de laatste stop van de tour. Dit is het perfecte moment om koffie te halen.

Was Great. Remi was an amazing tour guide. The food choices were amazing and it was the best tour we had during our two weeks in Japan.

My partner and I did this tour with Remy today. He is SO knowledgeable, accommodating and passionate about history. This tour is perfectly curated for tourists who want to experience true Kyoto culture (and great cheap food!) on top of the classic touristy destinations. Remy knew the perfect spots to get photos inside Fushimi Inari (without being stuck in crowds at all!!) and the rest of the tour was at destinations outside of classic overpriced tourism spots (and therefore no crowds!!) but filled with the most incredible authentic Kyoto experiences and history, and beautiful social-media worthy scenic spots that we never would have discovered ourselves! 🥰 It is clear the amount of care and consideration that the Japan Tour Adventure team has put into this tour, forging relationships with local Kyoto historical sites owners and earning a well-deserved reputation as a kind, respectful tour agency that just wants to show the best parts of Kyoto to everyone ❤️ My partner and I cannot recommend Japan Tour Adventure (especially Remy) enough.
