This is an absolute must do tour! Warren was our guide and he was full of so much information and history. He made the experience really special!
Leon was an amazing tour guide. He went out of his way to set expectations and tell us what was going to happen, when, where, and how. Lots of walking and steps. Be prepared and this is not the tour for people who have difficulties with steps. Leon knew his stuff and had answers for all the questions directed his way. He was awesome and made the experience that much better. It’s quite expensive but was worth the money. The only complaint I had is that you did not have much time to roam around the Tower grounds and were herded off to the bridge by the designated time. I would have preferred the option to stay at the ToL to explore all things but I understand. Part of the excursion is the bridge and glass bottom walking part, and you have a specific time for that. What we did get to do and see was amazing and I am just nitpicking. Leon rocks!
Great time at Tower of London; with this particular VIP option, you skip pretty much all the lines to the main sections (Royal Family jewels, etc). I wish it could last more time, but, after this experience, next coming you can just buy regular ticket and then concentrate on what interests you; also, our tour guide (John, from Ireland) was not only very knowledgeable, providing great factoids and unknown history stories, but also very funny!
It was good to have early access to see the opening ceremony Crown Jewels before all the crowd arrived. While our guide was very knowledgeable, the fact that he had a friend with him to whom he chatted a lot was off putting. He also had a quiet voice & with a tickly cough, he was hard to hear at times.
Lots of walking. Like lots of walking. Our guide was great. We seen a lot. But it was a tiring day. Interesting.
Excellent tour of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge! The VIP early entry was worth every penny to get you ahead of the line and see the opening key ceremony. That also gets you first in line for the Crown Jewels which was wonderful! Leon, our guide, was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. He leaves you to discover the Tower Bridge at the end on your own at your own pace. I would highly recommend this tour!
Leon was fabulous, so many great stories to bring the Tower of London to life. Set clear expectations of what would happen over the course of the three hours, managed to get the group into a roped off area to see the torture devices and ensured the group was at the bridge on time.
Leon our guide was great, and the VIP entrance to the Tower was well worth it. BUT we were pretty unimpressed with the Tower Bridge. If we had it to do over, we would skip the bridge "tour" (really just a walk across the upper walkways) and spend more time at the Tower and maybe just walk across the Tower bridge afterwards.
Loved it, totally worth the price to bypass all lines. Fia was an excellent guide and even my kids (11 & 13) were completely entertained.
Great fun! Nice to arrive before the crowds. The tour was informative. Timing was long enough to see the sites, but not too long where we were waiting.
