Ga op een groot avontuur wanneer je naar de Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca gaat. Heel vroeg in de ochtend, vertrek per busje langs Valle Sur tot we aankomen in het dorp Cusipata. Ontbijt. Daarna begint de klim via een gemeenschappelijke onverharde weg tot we aankomen op 4.800 m.a.s.l. Begin van onze wandeling langs een pad van 4 km en observeer ver weg de besneeuwde bergketen van Ausangate. Onze gids gaat met ons mee en leert ons hoe we goed op hoogte kunnen lopen. De keten van bergen gestreept met kleuren zal beetje bij beetje verschijnen, totdat we het observatiepunt bereiken op 5000 m.a.s.l. De geologische formaties zullen al zijn grote pracht onthullen. Vinicunca is een van de grote attracties die je niet mag missen tijdens je reis naar Peru. Vrije tijd om foto's te maken. Later zullen we via hetzelfde pad afdalen om aan boord van ons voertuig te stappen en af te dalen naar Cusipata. Lunch. Keer terug naar Cuzco. Beste seizoen: april tot november.

The landscapes were amazing, even more with the snow! A little slippery, but it was worth it. The guide was excellent, very attentive and dear!
This was an incredible experience! The hike is challenging, but totally doable, you just have to take your time - our guide was extremely patient with us, and allowed each person in the group to move at their own pace. She even walked my wife down to the basecamp when she was not feeling well, and then made her way back up to meet us as we were making our descent. Totally worth the trip!

An entirely magical experience. If you are in Peru, this must be experienced. An incredibly nice trip. Beautiful landscape. This is strongly recommended.
