Beschrijving
Ongeveer 100 km ten zuidoosten van Cusco ligt een van de mooiste wonderen van de natuur: de 7-kleurenberg. Deze plaats, ook wel bekend als de Regenboogberg, ligt op een hoogte van 5.200 meter boven zeeniveau. Je wordt 's ochtends vroeg opgehaald bij het hotel en naar Cusipata gebracht, waar je ontbijt en de wandeling begint. De tocht wordt omgeven door prachtige landschappen van de Andes en wordt bewaakt door de majestueuze Ausangate-berg, een van de belangrijkste bergen van Cusco, die sinds de tijd van de Inca's als een heilige entiteit wordt beschouwd. Zodra u het uitkijkpunt van de 7-kleurenberg bereikt, kunt u de omgeving van bovenaf waarderen. Na enkele minuten begint u af te dalen naar Cusipata, waar u zult genieten van de lunch. Na de lunch keert u terug naar uw hotel in Cusco.

Incredible expedition and what a joy to arrive at the end at an altitude of 5036 meters, to contemplate the site, the mountain but also the landscape. It is not accessible to everyone but the guides do their best to accompany us and make the climb safe. The walk is not very long in distance but at this altitude, it remains very difficult and long. You need 2 to 3 hours and take your time. The view is worth it.
A tremendous experience. People not used to altitude and decide to climb the mountain on foot, I wish you success and great care with your health. Height affects breathing, pressure, headaches, etc. You can ride a horse for 50 Soles or a motorboat for 80 Soles. Just one way. Do it is a spectacle.
The view on the way up is very beautiful. The beautiful final destination, nice photos. Good talk from the guide. On the way back they got us off in a hurry, to improve the times.
A super challenging hike but worth every effort. Ever, our guide was the best. He had the patience to take us calmly to the top and was very attentive to ensuring that we were well at all times. Additional was our photographer, truly the best.

Be realistic and indicate if on the mountain the conditions are not suitable to climb and you will not see any colors. We went and it snowed really hard. Everything was white. Also tell people the appropriate clothing to go, more when it is snowing, orient from earlier. I recognize that they live from this work but the walk was harder with cold and snowing at the same time, you do not need to go all the way to not have a good experience. Give the choice, nor say the sun will rise and clear. It's not real. Going down was another story, the snowfall was worse and abundant. Weather conditions are changing in these years, it is unpredictable but if it is snowing they can warn you.
