Ons huis staat sinds 2023 op nummer 1 van de 380 te bezoeken wijngaarden in Champagne-Ardenne volgens de Tripadvisor Travel Ranking en is uitgeroepen tot Unieke Ervaring van het Jaar 2024 door de Travel Hospitality AWARDS. Onze cuvées komen uitsluitend van de eerste persing (de cuvée) en hebben allemaal de Premier Cru appellatie, wat finesse en elegantie garandeert.

Great tour presented by Faustine! The history of the champagne house was fascinating and the tasting took place in a very pleasant atmosphere. Faustine showed attentiveness, listening skills, and professionalism throughout the tour. A great experience that I highly recommend!

We had an incredible experience at Lallement Massonnet and can’t recommend it enough. The tour felt so much more personal than visiting one of the larger champagne houses. It was fascinating to learn that such a small team is responsible for every step of the process—from maintaining the vineyards and harvesting the grapes to producing, bottling, and selling the champagne. You can really see the pride and passion they put into their work, and it made us appreciate every glass even more. The champagne was excellent, but what really stood out was the opportunity to connect with the people behind it and hear their story firsthand. If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run champagne experience, this is absolutely worth a visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Unexpected stop, warm welcome by the hostess, after the explanations of their creation of champagne of different characters that we pleasantly enjoyed, it is up to you to also make the detour.

This experience was enriching. We were welcomed by Faustine, who was able to explain things clearly and very professionally. She passionately shares everything there is to know about working the vines and making champagne. We recommend this tour without hesitation to anyone who wishes to discover the world of champagne in a friendly and authentic atmosphere. We had a wonderful experience at Champagne Lallement Massonnot. Faustine was very welcoming, friendly, and passionate. The discovery of the vineyard and the explanation of the winemakers’ work gave us a real understanding of what goes into every bottle of Champagne. The tasting was excellent, and we highly recommend this authentic family Champagne House!

This experience left me wanting more. The location is beautiful, with views of a large valley. At the start of the tour, we walked across the street from the main building to talk about the grapes and process for about 20 minutes, but just stayed in that one location. We then went into the building and the tasting was all of us just standing at the reception desk. We were finished in under an hour, but we invited to walk in the vineyards on our own. The highlight was the tour lead, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you just want to taste the wine, this may satisfy you. But I wouldn't consider it an "experience".
Dear Lisa, Our Guide Faustine and I hope you are doing well. You booked the "Vineyard and Triple Tasting First Cru in the Mountains of Reims" visit with VIATOR. It includes 2 PARTS: VINEYARDS (approx 30 min)+ TRIPLE TASTING (approx 30 min) and lasts 1 Hour in Total. Yes, we went in our Chardonnay plot as you mentionned with a very beautiful view on the vineyards (at least 50 acres), Champagne fields and Reims Cathedral as it was described on VIATOR (see : "What to expect" description) We do agree that we don't provide a walk in the vines. Our purpose and added value is more about sharing our knowledge about our Champagne Terroir and Viticulture skills. We stayed indeed in front of that premier cru plot to show you our Terroir and type of grapes with different charts. The Tourist Office of Reims and Epernay can guide you to have dozens of beautiful walk in the vines if it was more your need. We could have advised on this as well, but this need was not expressed with our team. During the triple Champagne tasting you had: one of our best seller, our special cuvée Blanc de Noirs (100% Meunier) and our Millésime 2020. The second part of the visit was not "just standing" in our tasting room. Above serving the champagne glasses, our tour leader (now 2 years experience) is providing you wine education and sommelier gestures. The reception desk you described is our champagne bar. It was built by the same craftsman than Maison PERRIER JOUET with a white board so you can distinguish the different shades of our Champagnes during the triple tasting. FYI: Because Summer 2026 in France broke records on heatwaves, this Saturday 11th July, the weather forecast predicted temperature at 38° C (100,.4 F) and around 11 AM it was already 29°C (86 F). We may spoke only 20 min vines (instead of 30) but we extended the tasting at 40 min for your comfort and safety, as we where serving alcohol. We are very sorry of your disappointment as you came from so far by plane so see the champagne region and also took a uber to see our estate. Regards, Marie LALLEMENT
We arrived spontaneously, following a recommendation from friends, and were able to book a small tasting on-site without an appointment with 3 glasses per person. The employee was very friendly and dedicated and vividly told us interesting aspects about the production of the champagne varieties, all of which we found very delicious. We thought that everything was organized perfectly and illustrated clearly with visual material. We enjoyed it and learned something. Clear recommendation. Thank you very much.
