Wat deze tour onderscheidt is de combinatie van Expert begeleiding en echte flexibiliteit. Je gaat zelf naar Versailles, ontmoet je Gids bij de ingang van het paleis en slaat meteen voorbij de wachtrijen met fast-track toegang. Van daaruit leidt uw Gids u door de Grand Apartments en de schitterende Spiegelzaal, waardoor u de context krijgt die een prachtige kamer transformeert in een meeslepend verhaal. Zodra het geleide gedeelte is afgerond, is de rest van het landgoed van jou. Wandel vrij door de formele tuinen en rijd vervolgens in uw eigen tempo verder naar het Grand Trianon en Le Petit Trianon. Met een kleine groep voelt u zich nooit druk of gehaast.

Ontmoet je Gids naast het bronzen Lodewijk XIV-beeld op het voorplein van het paleis, een gemakkelijke bezienswaardigheid vlak voor de poorten. Uw Gids loopt door het plan en geeft u een idee van de omvang van het voormalige koninklijk landgoed voordat u richting de ingang gaat.
Met getimede toegang, omzeil de lange wachtrijen en stap recht in het met marmer beklede interieur. Uw Gids leidt u door het Grand Apartment van de Koning en het Grand Apartment van de Koningin, en deelt hoe beschilderde plafonds, vergulde lijsten en gesneden lambrisering het dagelijkse hofritueel vormden onder figuren als Marie Antoinette.
Binnenkort bereikt u de Spiegelzaal, de galerij waar het daglicht rij na rij spiegels en kroonluchters vangt. Uw Gids legt uit hoe de zaal de koninklijke beeldvorming vormgaf en later gastheer was voor de ondertekening van het Verdrag van Versailles.
Self-Guided : Zodra je naar buiten stapt, raakt de schaal van de tuinen je echt. Het terrein, ontworpen door André Le Nôtre, is aangelegd met lange rechte paden, gebeeldhouwde hagen en enorme fonteinbekkens die eeuwig lijken door te gaan. Dit is uw tijd om vrij te verkennen, dus dwaal zo ver als je wilt.
Self-Guided : Uw laatste stop is Le Petit Trianon, het neoklassieke toevluchtsoord dat Marie Antoinette zich volledig eigen heeft gemaakt. Ze herontwierp de tuinen, richtte het interieur opnieuw in en gebruikte het als een privé-ontsnapping aan de rigide regels van het paleisleven. Verken het in je eigen tempo en neem het verhaal van de vrouw die dit kleine paleis omtoverde tot haar persoonlijke toevluchtsoord.
Zelfstandig : Een korte wandeling door de tuinen brengt u naar het Grand Trianon, een kleiner roze marmeren paleis dat Lodewijk XIV bouwde toen hij een pauze van het hofleven nodig had. Het is rustiger en persoonlijker dan het hoofdpaleis, en je bent vrij om de kamers en tuinen in je eigen tempo te verkennen.

Had problem with tickets as booked through booking.com and they hadn’t sent proper tickets through! Unknown to me. So lots of stress and anxiety, but then I managed to get hold of booking.com

It was excellent! So worth it to get the group experience, not only to make the smooth entrance among a very heavy crowd, same with the garden; our tour guide was phenomenal! Maryann, very pleasant, full of information, things that we would never found out if we go on our own. Her pace was great, to listen to the facts, the history, the stories and to take pictures. It’s a huge place to navigate! When we went to the gardens she got as a printed map and explained the closing times- and gave us suggested routes, and how to get to the fountains. Maryann was incredible and the whole staff at The Tour Guy were very organize and reliable, I am so impress! I have to come back in 2 weeks to bring my son, and definitely doing this tour again! So much to see, I’m sure I will learn something new and will be a great experience for him too.

This was a horrible experience . We paid 230.00 and did not find our group. Layer they said even though they are inside they can’t let us in so we had to buy tickets again.
