Onze lunch wordt geserveerd in een echte TRATTORIA- RESATURANT: op basis van verse pasta: TORTELLI / RISOTTO met amarone/ of GNOCCHI / tagliatelle met truffel/ polenta met gesmolten kaas DOP en meer gastronomische lekkernijen. Plaatsen die we bezoeken kunnen veranderen, afhankelijk van het seizoen en de dagen. Tijdens onze wandeling zullen we verschillende eet- en wijnstops maken, inclusief een traditioneel warm hoofdgerecht in een typische trattoria! Het zijn net twee Verona-tours in één: een Verona-wandeltocht met een lokale gastheer gecombineerd met een eet- en wijnroute. We zullen een JUISTE WIJNPROEFSESSIE doen met een grappige wijnles om onze eet- en wijntradities die tot de Romeinse tijd behoren beter te begrijpen. we zullen minstens 3 verschillende DOC-wijnen proeven, en ook AMARONE. Deze wijn wordt tegenwoordig beschouwd als de koning van de Italiaanse wijnen. alle wijnen worden gecombineerd met lokale heerlijke snacks uit de bergen van de Dolomieten en het Gardameer. voor kinderen bieden wij frisdranken aan.

Aurora was a fantastic host for this experience. It is super hot in Verona today, 35c and humid but she kept us informed, engaged, in the shade (mostly) and fed and watered at some of the best local food and beverage locations in the city. I type this from the bar at the top of the funicular leading to Castel s. Pietro. Thank you Aurora!

Laura was an excellent guide and I thoroughly enjoyed the informative tour through the old city of Verona. She stopped at some excellent spots away from the crowds and we had a wonderful wine tasting at the end followed by the best gelato I’d sampled!
Enjoyable 2.5 hour tour with Aurora. Some nice insights into tourist hotpots in Verona that you’ve probably already seen in walking through. Food and wine choices are very good. I won’t spoil it, but they are all excellent choices. You get a lot for your money from this tour when you realise how many stops you’ve made. Good fun!

We arranged a private tour with Virginia….. we did a 2 hour walking tour of Verona and then a fantastic drive into the Valpolicella region for a wonderful lunch and wine tasting at a private winery. Every part of the winery’s offerings from bread, cheese, olive oil, entree to wine were all fabulous. The experience was exceptional and enjoyed by the group. Every time I arrive to a new city, first thing I do is book a food tour. I had one in Aruba, Thailand, Mexico City, Venice, Milan and Verona. And the one in Verona was the worst by far. It is grossly misleading and misrepresentative. I would call it History tour of Verona with snacks not food tour. If I wanted history tour of Verona, I would have booked one for 40$. And when I book a food tour I expect food to be the main aspect of it! The guide of the tour Aurora was very sweet, knowledgeable, friendly and personable but the food part of the tour was absolutely atrocious. You get rice pastry, focaccia, two red wine tastings with cheese and salami, THERE WAS NO SIT DOWN DINNER AT TRATTORIA instead we stopped by at some fast food pasta place where they served overcooked ravioli and then there was gelato stop. There was one review where an older gentlemen addresses same concerns saying that after paying 130$ he left hungry, to which instead of apologizing to him and thanking him for his feedback he was scolded with very snarky remarks saying:" this is not an all you can eat buffet! What are you nuts expecting a full meal for 130$!" This tour felt like a tourist trap and a sham. Again, nothing to do with the guide but with whoever put it together. I didn't feel like those food selections were representative of the region. I went to a bunch of restaurants and asked for local cuisine recommendations and they were amazing! So, you decide if this nonsense is worth your hard earned 130$ in this economy.
we are very sorry to hear that. we won as "the best local experience 2023-2024-2025" with this tour and for sure we are not a " touristic trap" . YOU CAN NOT EVEN IMAGINE HOW HARD WE WORK TO ALWAYS PROVIDE GREAT EXPERIENCES AND STAY OPEN EVERY DAY .. WE ARE A VERY SMALL BOUTIQUE AGENCY . we are really very very SORRY to hear THE TOUR was not to your liking, but this kind of OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE is never acceptable in my modest opinion, especially towards people like us who work day and night to try to develop their own business. we always try to do the best we can. somethings we do sometimes we don't . BUT your words are really disrespectful and aggressive in my opinion. is " just a tour".. made by local people who did their best. BTW: the TORTELLI you had for lunch are from LA BOTTEGA DELLA GINA RESTAURANT. i write down the name, so other people can google it and see what all people think about this place... it's one of the BEST in verona.. and has only 5 stars.. so again, we tried to give you the best .. ( in our modest opinion) . we always appreciate feedbacks, good and not in order to always improve the service. is just the way to tell things that really can change a lot the position.... have a great life all the best
A brilliant way to experience the food, wine and history of Verona. Our guide Diana was amazing and we covered so much ground despite it being 31 degrees. A really fun experience which is a must if you visit Verona.

We really enjoyed our tour with Aurora. She was very friendly and spoke English very well. There were 6 of us, so it was a nice small group, which we enjoyed talking with. She took us around the city and showed us some spots that you would not see as a normal tourist. I enjoyed talking with Aurora as we walked and learning more about the culture. Our food stops included coffee and a pastry unique to Verona, a candy shop where we got a free sample, lunch which included a choice of two pastas with wine, a wine shop with a local wine tasting, cheese, and meat, and lastly Gelato. The wine tasting presentation was very interesting! We ended the tour by taking the funicular to the top of the city, where we had the most amazing views.
