Geniet van een 11-uur durende rondleiding door Venetië, de meest romantische stad ter wereld, via het Gardameer. Ga sightseeën met een tourgids door het hart van Venetië. Tijdens deze excursie ziet u de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van de stad, zoals de Brug der Zuchten, het San Marcoplein en de kathedraal, de klokkentoren en de Rialto-brug. U gaat op een privéboot door de kanalen van Venetië en u heeft vrije tijd in de namiddag.

Begin je reis per bus van Gardameer naar Venetië! Tijd in bus is ongeveer 3 uur voor Venetië en 3 uur retour transfer
Aankomst in Venetië om 11:00 uur en spring op een privéboot en steek de lagune over naar San Marco.
Maak een wandeltocht van 50 minuten over het San Marcoplein, compleet met een officiële stads Gids en koptelefoon, en bekijk enkele van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van de stad, zoals de Basiliek van San Marco, de Brug der Zuchten en de Campanile. Wandel door de hoofdstraten naar de Rialtobrug en andere monumenten van “La Serenissima”.
Om ongeveer 12.45 uur arriveert u bij de Rialtobrug. Venetië’s ultieme icoon! De Rialtobrug is gebouwd in 1591 en steekt in stijl het Canal Grande over. Boordevol geschiedenis, prachtige uitzichten en levendige winkels, het is het hart van de stad - en een absolute must-see.
In de namiddag (van 13u tot 16u: 25u) krijgt u wat vrije tijd om te ontspannen en Venetië op eigen houtje te verkennen. Ga buiten de gebaande paden voor een meer authentieke kijk op het dagelijks leven in de stad, of gewoon achterover leunen en mensen kijken in een van de vele cafés van Piazza San Marco. Heb een gondeltocht of lagune boottocht in deze tijd als geboekt met onze Gids op bus.
Om 16.00: 22.00 uur ontmoet u de Gids voor het Gabrielli hotel (Riva degli Schiavoni, 4110, 30122 Venezia VE). Spring terug op de boot om van daaruit naar de busparking te gaan. Vertrek vanaf de busparkeerplaats om ongeveer 17: 15 uur.

We had a great time in Venice. Thomas our tour guide was fantastic, staying enthusiastic the whole time and giving great information on the tour. He was very helpful and we got a gondola ride for a decent group discount. Venice itself was busy and hot, but that’s to be expected and it was still wonderful and stunning to see. Would highly recommend

The walking tour was informative. The optional gondola ride was €35 per person, they put 5 people in the gondola. I would rather of paid €90 and just had a gondola ride with just myself and my partner, I was not aware of the charge for booking privately. Also, I found the optional boat ride boring. It was very difficult to hear the guide talking over the sound of the engine and people talking. We had very little free time because we decided to do the optional extras. I would suggest after the walking tour with the guide booking your own gondola ride and skipping the 1 hour boat trip - this would allow you more free time to explore Venice.
It was a very beautiful, eventful day in Venice and very good organization.

This trip was fantastic! A couple of pointers for anyone planning to go: The trip price doesn’t include lunch, the gondola ride, or the lagoon tour. These are optional extras that you pay for in cash to the guide on the coach. We paid €35 per person for the gondola ride and €26 per person for the lagoon tour. Personally, we didn’t think the lagoon tour was worth the money. If you do decide to go, make sure you sit outside if you want to hear the guide, as the engine noise inside the boat makes the small speakers very difficult to hear. Overall, though, it was a great trip. Venice is absolutely stunning and well worth the visit.
Everything worked out great, from the booking to the pickup until we arrived back at the meeting point.
The be-all and end-all is punctuality. Listen carefully to what the tour guide says; it is very important for an unforgettable experience.
