Als je nieuw bent in Yangon, kom hier dan zonder kaart. Onze gepassioneerde lokale experts zijn bereid je rond te leiden in de binnenstad van Yangon. Je zult versteld staan van de geschiedenis, het verhaal, het lokale leven en de culturen van Yangon. Ook richten we ons op lokale ervaringen in plaats van de gebouwen. Onze lokale EXPERT zal u ontmoeten voor het onafhankelijke monument in het Mahabandoola-park en zal u de geschiedenis van Yangon en de huidige verhalen van het park uitleggen.
Als we stoppen bij het park, gaat onze lokale EXPERT praten het stadhuis en het belang ervan evenals uitleg over de omliggende gebieden Sule Pagodas en High Court.
Na het park te hebben verlaten en over de handelsweg te hebben gelopen, gaat onze lokale EXPERT de geschiedenis van het gebouw van Sofa delen en de gebouwen bezoeken en de LawKanat Gallery bezoeken. Tegen die tijd nemen we de tijd om meer te leren over theecultuur in het plaatselijke theehuis. Trouwens, je hoort ook het verhaal van "Rander House" dat het tegenovergestelde is van het gebouw van Sofa.
We stoppen bij de oudste Armeense kerk in Yangon en leren de geschiedenis ervan terwijl we op een ontspannen manier op de bank zitten. Observeer de plaatselijke Armeniër en maak de prachtige foto in de kerk.
Langs de strandweg verkennen we het algemene postkantoor en strandhotel van Yangon.
We blijven actief leren over het oude koloniale architectuurontwerp rondom de Pansodan-weg en de bankweg. We vinden ook tijd om leuke spelletjes te doen om deel te nemen aan het proberen betel quid te maken in de betelwinkel terwijl we ons mengen met de lokale bevolking.
Uiteindelijk gaan we terug naar het park en onderweg verkennen we de lokale straatmarkt en leren we over de lokale manier van leven voordat we de tour afsluiten met fotosessies en Q & A-sessies.

Our experience with this tour company in Yangon was outstanding from start to finish. The tour was very well paced, allowing us to see all of the key areas in downtown Yangon without ever feeling rushed. As Americans, we especially appreciated how thoughtfully the itinerary was structured to give us cultural context along with historical highlights. The tea house experience was a true highlight and gave us an authentic glimpse into local life that we would not have found on our own. Communication beforehand was excellent, clear, and reassuring, which made planning from abroad simple and stress-free. Our guide, Htun, was punctual, professional, and absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to every detail. Tourism is still very low in the country right now, but we felt safe throughout and were warmly welcomed everywhere we went. Even with just 24 hours in the city, the experience was well worth it, and we would confidently recommend this company to other Western travelers looking for a meaningful and well-organized introduction to Yangon.

On the walking tour it was just me and my boyfriend and thankfully it was so. Our guide knew a lot about the history of Myanmar and the various colonial buildings in the city center. It took us to visit local markets and some corners of Yangon. He answered all of our questions with immense enthusiasm. We have never seen anyone speak of their country with such appreciation. The tour was supposed to be from 2 am to 2:30 am and we ended up staying almost 4 am. We ended up going for tea with Tin Mar Wai chatting. Tin Mar Wai also gave us tips on various things to do and places to visit in Yangon. I highly recommend the tour with Tin Mar Wai.

We had a wonderful tour through the old historical places in Yangon and lots of fun with our awesome tour guide Wai (i hope i write it in the right way ;) ). She was very helpful and pleasant and showed us lots of interesting places in the city with all the historical background. I would recommand it to everyone before you start your sightseeing trip on your own, because you understand the places way better with all the informations before. The tour was nearly 3 hours and we had a great conversation in a tea house where we can taste the real traditional tea. Wai was the best tour guide during our trip in Myanmar and we hope to see her again.

I only had a day and a half in Yangon, but I wanted to experience as much as possible and really get a feel for the place. Doing the walking tour with Tom (the guide), I got to understand how much Yangon had changed in such a short space of time. I loved hearing about the history and culture. It was interesting and a nice touch, to go to a local tea shop, which is a big part of the culture of Yangon. The traditions of the tea shop have even changed a lot too! I’m interested in Architecture, so to see all the colonial buildings and to go inside some of them, was a real treat for me. Tom told me about any historical facts related to the buildings, which only enhanced the experience. I really enjoyed the tour and I would definitely recommend it!

The tour of Yangon with our guide Tom was great! Tom was very friendly and could speak English very well. He gave us a good overview of Myanmar's history and culture during the tour and showed interesting places and buildings and was open to all questions. Especially for a first impression of Myanmar, if you have just arrived, the tour is very suitable.

We had a great time on the free saturday walking tour with our friendly tour guide Chung. He showed us around a local market, went for a complimentary tea, really cool abandoned building and gave some interesting info about historical Myanmar. The tour is free, but it is worth giving them a tip afterwards. We had a very nice tour!
