Op de terugweg naar Dubrovnik neemt u een korte pauze in het middeleeuwse stadje Ston, beroemd om zijn oude stenen muren, oesters en zoutpannen. Een geweldige kans voor een korte wandeling en een voorproefje van de lokale geschiedenis.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Houd er rekening mee dat de ophaaltijden per locatie verschillen. De tour begint om 6.30 uur en uw pick-up zal plaatsvinden voor de starttijd. Zorg ervoor dat u onze berichten in de gaten houdt voor uw exacte ophaaltijd en neem contact met ons op als u deze niet hebt ontvangen. Houd er rekening mee dat de tour niet kan wachten op gasten die niet op tijd zijn. Vanwege de verkeersregels van de stad worden alle gasten die in de oude binnenstad verblijven opgehaald bij Pile Gate en afgezet bij Vila Dard (Pera Bakica 11) - een wandeling van 10 minuten van Pile Gate. Pick-ups voor deze tour zijn beschikbaar tot Slano, omdat de tour in die richting reist. Zoek naar zwart-witte Mercedes voertuigen met het oranje Amico Tours logo, kentekens DU2006 - onze verjaardag :). Denk aan je paspoort! Sommige landen staan reizigers toe om in plaats daarvan een nationaal identiteitsbewijs te gebruiken, dus zorg ervoor dat u voor de reis controleert wat voor u van toepassing is. Gabrijel with Amico Tours was the best driver and tour guide. He was very entertaining and help throughout the entire tour. The van was comfortable and we saw all the amazing sights. We had extra time, as we were the only family on this tour and he took us to the top of Dubrovnik for a beautiful view of the city.

Our tour guide Gabriel was fantastic. Extremely informative, with vast local knowledge about the the areas we visited. Both geographical and political. Also an excellent driver on the tight coastal roads. Kate at their office in Dubrovnik was helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Amico Tour guide, Gabriel was very friendly, enthusiastic and informative. Nice vehicle, very safe driving and we were well looked after. The out of season visit to the Kravice falls were great as there were only 6 of us there. Mostar was rather tourist orientated but still pretty with charm. Lunch was great with very nice food at the recommended Urban Grill, sitting on the terrace with view of the bridge.

We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to travelers to Dubrovnik. Our guide, Matej, was highly informative and gave fascinating insight into the complex relations and history of the Croats, Bosnians and Serbs during our trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our driver, illija, was excellent and made us feel safe on our travels! Although the other stops were ok, we would have preferred skipping those and spending more time in Mostar.

I highly recommend this tour as the day was very enjoyable all round. Absolutely loved this trip. Our driver and guide, Gabriel, was amazing and so helpful. He stopped at some lovely places along the way and was always thinking of his passengers wellbeing. Mostar is a must see city and Kravice Falls are stunning.

I thought a “small group” tour would be more comfortable than a big bus tour, but it wasn’t. I paid more for this “small group,” but it wasn’t worth it. Apparently, “small group” just means less people overall, but packed into smaller van with smaller seats and less legroom. It was like flying in economy class. The destinations were great and the guide was knowledgeable, kind, and excellent. But when you cram 17 people into a 19 passenger van with small seats and terrible legroom, there is no way to spread out and be comfortable. It was terrible. For me, the AC couldn’t cool the van enough, probably because of all the heat outside combined with all the human body heat crammed into a tight space. For such a long distance tour, the company should absolutely NOT try to fill every seat in that van. They should keep it to 10-12 on such a long trip, not 19. I would not book this tour again because of the lack of comfort during drive time.

These vans are designed for premium travel and are widely recognized as the highest standard available on the market for group transportation. That said, comfort is subjective, and we understand that for some guests, especially on longer journeys (2h driving time) the standard small group setup may still feel limiting — particularly when all seats are occupied. For travelers who prioritize extra space and maximum comfort, we strongly recommend booking a private tour, where you can fully tailor the group size, seating arrangement, and travel pace to your needs. I had a brilliant time on the tour it had a great balance on time alone versus structured tour. Customs speed was amazing thankfully this happens when in a very small group. Gabriel made sure everyone was comfortable and kept us knowledgeable about everything we needed to know on the way. He is an excellent guide and if you get him you will be delighted. Can’t wait to return to Croatia and do more tours next holiday.

We went on this trip today and had a great time. Mat filled us in on lots of local history and politics. We left very early which was definitely the right thing to do as we only waited a few minutes at customs and the waterfall was not busy (but getting busy as we left). Mostar was very interesting. We went to the mosque and ate some local food. Ston was beautiful, good point for a stop on the way back.

was just on the Kravice waterfalls and Mostar tour which was guided by the most amazing tourist guide-Matej. It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only did Mat bring such amazing vibes and energy but his knowledge was super! Everything was breathtaking I couldn’t fault one thing. Matej truly has such a skill to be able to make everything seem natural it never felt like he was reading from a script which is what other tours have felt like. The vibes were soooo good! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience such beautiful scenery and to experience different culture. Once again i want to say how much of an amazing tour guide you hired he truly deserves more recognition!!
