Ga met ons mee voor deze geweldige reis en bekijk bezienswaardigheden in de regio Herzegovina. Tour begint vanuit Sarajevo en duurt ongeveer 11 uur. In deze dagtour zie je de stad Mostar, het culturele en administratieve centrum van Herzegovina. Het is beroemd om zijn door UNESCO beschermde brug. Je zult de mooiste, de must-see plekken zien en bezoeken voor iedereen die ooit naar het gebied van de Balkan komt. We zullen de oude brug in Konjic bezoeken, genieten van een prachtige kleine stad - Blagaj en een mysterieuze Darwish Tekke zien naast de Spring of River Buna. We gaan naar Kravice-watervallen - de mooiste waterval in ons land, een kleine versie van Niagara-watervallen. En natuurlijk breng je het grootste deel van je tijd door met het verkennen van Mostar en de meest herkenbare bezienswaardigheden - de Oude Brug, de Oude Bazaar van Kujundziluk, Turskish Hamam, Koski Mehmed-pasha Mosque.

Het vestingstadje Stepped Ottoman-tijdperk Počitelj is een middeleeuws en Ottomaans-mediterraan wonder van natuur en architectuur, een plek als geen ander. Cupped in een steile rotsachtige amfitheater, het is een warren van trappen klimmen tussen gammele stenen dak huizen en granaatappel struiken. Sinds het jaar 2000 heeft de Federatie van de regering van Bosnië en Herzegovina het dorp onder een programma van permanente bescherming geplaatst.
Mostar is een stad van steen op steen, historisch, politiek, wetenschappelijk en cultureel centrum van Herzegovina ligt aan de voet van de hellingen van de Velez-berg, in de vallei van de Neretva-rivier. De meest bekende attractie hier is de oude brug, gebouwd in 1566 volgens plannen van Hayruddin, de grote Turkse aannemer van de 16e eeuw. Het is opgenomen op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. We zullen Kriva Ćuprija zien, de oudste boogbrug in Mostar, Hamam - Turks bad - het enige Turkse bad dat nog steeds in Mostar bestaat en een van de weinige overgebleven voorbeelden in de hele regio van Herzegovina. De Mostar-tour vanuit Sarajevo gaat over de Koski Mehmed Pasha-moskee, de op één na grootste moskee in Mostar, waarvan de originele kleuren en wanddecoraties bewaard zijn gebleven. I came in with high expectations based on their stellar ratings, but the actual experience completely blew me away. We booked the “Bosnia and Herzegovina with Mostar Highlights Tour” and spent around 12 hours on the trip. Our overall experience with the company was excellent. All the staff members were polite, welcoming, and incredibly kind — especially Adnan, the receptionist (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember), and everyone else we interacted with throughout the experience. We started the tour with Cristian, a gentleman who speaks perfect English and communicates exceptionally well. He was friendly, professional, and explained everything we needed to know about the trip, as well as each city and stop we visited along the way. Cristian went far beyond the role of a tour guide. We also asked him for advice about what to do the following day and where to shop for certain things. He gladly guided us, recommended places to visit, and even told us what prices to expect, which was extremely helpful. Honestly, this was one of those unforgettable experiences that I believe I will remember forever

Meet Bosnia tours were outstanding for me and my daughter Rabia. First we had a free walking tour with Amina a lovely tour guide who explained the history of Bosnia in great detail with such great passion and shown us beautiful mosques and little cafes and markets and little hidden alleys of the beautiful old town of Sarajevo. We then went on to book 2 tours with them. One to Sarajevo, Konjic, Počitelj, Sufi House, Waterfalls and Mostar. Second tour was to Jajce and Travnik. Boths tours were amazing and worthworth the price. Both tour guides Jasmin and Amina were both amazing and friendly, very informative spoke very good English and we got to see other beautiful places of Bosnia with breathtaking views of Mostar, waterfall and lakes ectre. They gave us chicken sandwiches and water on the tours. The tours were truely amazing and we got to see other beautiful areas of Bosnia we would have missed if it was not for the Meet Bosnia tour. We were picked and drop from our apartments free. They even graciously kept our luggage free of charge on the last day of our holiday as we had already done a tour with them. I would highly recommend them and would use them again when we are next in Sarajevo.
