Bekend als de "Poort naar de Cotswolds" stoppen we in dit charmante dorpje. Dwaal over het terrein van de parochiekerk, en spring binnen in enkele van de charmante winkels in de pittoreske hoofdstraat.
In het hart van de Cotswolds ligt Bourton-On-The-Water, vaak aangeduid als het Venetië van de Cotswolds. Dit rustige dorpje is een klein stukje Cotswolds paradijs, met zijn prachtige gebogen bruggen en rustige wandelingen langs de rivier, evenals een schat aan attracties, is er voor elk wat wils. Geniet van een traditionele lunch, of ontspan in de prachtige omgeving.
Beschreven door dichter William Morris als het mooiste dorp van Engeland. De rivier de Coln loopt door het centrum van Bibury en is de thuisbasis van allerlei wilde dieren zoals zwanen, eenden en ijsvogels. Bezoek de honderd jaar oude Bibury Trout Farm, die elk jaar tien miljoen bruine en regenboogforellen voortbrengt. Maar de parel in de kroon is de Arlington Row, de meest gefotografeerde rij huisjes in het land! Het is onmogelijk om te weerstaan aan de noodzaak om een aantal foto's van deze ansichtkaart perfecte 13e eeuwse huisjes te vangen, zo iconisch dat ze zelfs op de binnenkant van het Britse paspoort staan!

A nice little trip where you ger to see the «must-sees» in the three towns. Tony was a great guide/driver. I only wish we had more time in each town, I feelt I had to rush.
We had a wonderful tour guide, Daisy and driver Robert, who showed us the beauty of the Cotswolds. Daisy was full of information and historical facts. She also had wonderful tips of things to try and do in the little villages. We spent such a lovely day and would recommend this tour to anyone.
Cotswolds were more touristy than I expected. Thought we would be given more history about the area.
We highly recommend the Cotswold’s tour with Trish and Elijah! Trish’s fun and interesting stories throughout the day, as well as her upbeat and friendly personality made for an enjoyable and memorable day!
We had a wonderful time on our tour to the Cotwolds. Trish was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable on the area. Our driver Elijah did a great job getting us to and from London to the Cotswolds. I highly recommend both this tour and our guides Trish and Elijah!
Sandra was very thorough with her information between and during each stop. Not too much, just enough information. Stayed on schedule and offered suggestions what to visit at each charming stop. Only rec that travelers are aware where they drop off as it was not in same place as they picked up. Thank you Sandra!
Definitely book it! While I wish there was more time at each location because they were all so wonderful, they did a beautiful job of maximizing each stop for our enjoyment. They were punctual, friendly, and informative. Overall, it was a fabulous day, and our tour guide Trisha was amazing! Our driver, Elija, was skilled, friendly and punctual. I highly recommend this tour!!!!

We aim for the tour to be relaxing. This is a lovely tour to experience the English countryside. It is a great tour to see villages which are otherwise very difficult to get to without a tour group.

This is a small group tour and has a more local feel to it. This tour visits 3 local Cotswolds villages and our guide on this is very capable and is a tour guide for many years. Sorry to read you were underwhelmed, but maybe the small tour experience is not for you. This is a lovely tour with old world charm and the lived experienced in these villages.
Darren, the guide and driver was great. He shared so much information, not just about our own tour, but other stuff as well. He was friendly and approachable, also a fantastic driver
