The Rock is een Brits overzees gebied gelegen op een klein schiereiland op de zuidelijke punt van het Iberisch schiereiland, grenzend aan alleen Spanje. Het is historisch erkend als het meest zuidelijke punt van Europa en ligt aan het westelijke uiteinde van de Middellandse Zee, het vormen van een van de oude kolommen van Hercules. De Rock bestaat voornamelijk uit Jurassic kalksteen, daterend van ongeveer 200 miljoen jaar geleden. Bij aankomst bezoeken we de beroemde Apes’ Den en verkennen we de prachtige Saint Michael’s Caves. Daarna kunt u belastingvrij winkelen in Main Street of verborgen pareltjes ontdekken, zoals het Gibraltar Museum of de smalle straatjes en historische gebouwen van de oude stad. The guide and driver were helpful. The tour of the rock very interesting. The tour provides plenty of time at Gibraltar to eat and look at the shops. The low rating relates to the long journey of 4 hours from leaving Malaga to the bus parking in Gibraltar. One hour going through the border control and one hour picking up at several high traffic locations in Costa del Sol. The tour company has no control over crossing the border but should structure the tour to reduce the amount of time spend in traffic going through the towns in Costa del Sol when the majority of people started in Malaga.

The tour achieved the purpose; however, the bus in which we were transported had a very bad audio that even the guide was uncomfortable to give us the instructions. Also, the Spanish speakers were separated on another bus with a local guide, who continued pulling in English for giving priority to an Italian couple. For lack of communication we could not use the glass terrace.

Benjamin was great, very helpful and knowledgeable, and a great voice he could of talked the whole trip 😂 Everything was smooth and well communicated. I opted for the rock tour, which was well worth it and included fee to st michaels cave and still has a good few hours to mooch around the city.

First of all highlight the work of Alex (the gula) and Juan (the chauffeur) The excursion is fine, and has been carried out very enjoyably, despite the time it takes in pickups, thanks to Alex. We have not placed 5 because we hired in Spanish the excursion and in Gibraltad, the parner hired for the rock visota, first had the vehicle a disaster and also spoke in English and minimal translation into Spanish, which I had to translate to my mother. The rest is a worthwhile experience.

We arrived in Gibraltar and as soon as we arrived we started the tour to the rock, so far very well. But the tour was run, in the cave they gave 20', and everything was to get there and see running. A shame because the driver was very nice, he was explaining everything very well. Then we were left in Gibraltar 3 hours off which in our opinion with 2 hours and a half would have been enough, and would have been very well served that extra half hour for the tour.

Entendemos perfectamente lo que comentas: llegar a lugares tan especiales como la cueva y tener que verlos con prisas puede restar mucho a la experiencia. Tomamos muy en cuenta tu sugerencia sobre redistribuir los tiempos, reduciendo un poco el tiempo libre en Gibraltar para poder dedicar más tiempo a las visitas guiadas. Es un comentario muy valioso y lo tendremos en cuenta para seguir mejorando la organización del tour. Nos alegra saber que, a pesar de esto, el conductor dejó una buena impresión con sus explicaciones y trato cercano.
The truth: they took 30 ́of the set time to leave, the guide was not for work, he had contracted the tour and the guide scuttled him in a second, most of the passage only spoke English and also that was a conflict, to the point of the seats, there was a group that decided to change seats without more and it was very uncomfortable the situation, the guide did not warn that they did not change. On the tour the one who took us emitted guttural sounds all the time, accompanying the references of the self-guide. The guide was for her excursion to Morocco the next day and the driver in picking up her car from the workshop... as is! Thank you that I had already made another visit with another guide and driver and then I repeated and from afar you can see the great professionalism of the others. I don't remember their names just that the guide was Italian. But don't stop this opinion, it's worth the visit!!!

We did the round trip bus from Marbella to Gibraltar from visitanddo. The pickup was on time and the travelling to and from was good. The rock tour in Gibraltar was disappointing. The representative never told us the tour didn't go to the top of the Rock so we felt a bit mislead and ripped off. This was the main thing I went to Gibraltar for. The rock tour guide did his best but because he drove a small bus he was unable to get to the summit and we had no time on our own to go up independently.
