Tijdens de privétour per comfortabele auto met airconditioning bezoekt u de Etna - de hoogste actieve vulkaan van Europa. Deze tour is privé - alleen voor uw feest, niemand anders om de hoogste normen voor onze klanten te garanderen. Uw vriendelijke privégids vertelt u de geschiedenis van vulkaancreatie, over uitbarstingen, cultuur, mythen en folklore van "Mamma Etna" en Sicilië zelf. Rijdend met de eigen auto door authentieke bergdorpjes, bereikt u “Rifugio Sapienza” op 2000mt. Hier kunt u beroemde Silvestri-kraters bezoeken, onvergetelijke panorama's bewonderen, winkels bezoeken met souvenirs van lava, uzelf verfrissen in een restaurant of bar. Facultatieve beklimming met kabelbaan en jeep met de geautoriseerde Alpengids tot 3000mt. Daarna bezoekt u een van de beste Etna-wijnhuizen en luncht u met verse lokale gerechten met fijne rode en witte Siciliaanse wijnen. Je blijft de Etna beklimmen en bereikt het station "Rifugio Sapienza" op 2000 meter hoogte. Hier kunt u de beroemde Silvestri-kraters bezoeken, adembenemende panorama's bewonderen, souvenirwinkels bezoeken die lavageschenken aanbieden, of uzelf opfrissen in een bar of restaurant. Optionele beklimming per kabelbaan/4X4 met een geautoriseerde Alpengids naar 3000 meter. Na een bezoek aan de Etna zal de gids u ontspannen naar een van de beste wijnhuizen op de Etna-helling brengen. Bij de wijnmakerij krijgt u een rondleiding over het landgoed, ziet u hoe de druif groeit en bezoekt u de kelders, terwijl de deskundige sommelier u alles uitlegt over het wijnbereidingsproces en de geschiedenis van dit door een familie gerunde wijnhuis. We were on a field trip with Elena today, May 9, going to Etna volcano and the winery. We often travel and have visited many countries, we want to note that this tour will be among the top 5 excursions around the world! Really enjoyed everything, the stories and comfortable driving of Elena's car, the incredible beauty of Etna and the scenery during the whole journey! Learned a lot of interesting things and we're taking a lot of impressions out of Sicily! We also had an amazing lunch and wine tasting at the winery! Just gastronomic ecstasy, we're thrilled! We really enjoyed our trip to Mt Etna with our guide Omar. He was a delight to travel with and met our every need. We visited an apiary as well and tasted multiple honey flavors. The lunch at the winery was delicious and it was situated on a mountain ridge with wonderful views. A great experience not to be missed!
It was a great experience. Our driver Leo and guide Davide were great. We spent just the right amount of time on Etna (for us), went to a Lava Cave, a Honey Tasting and finally to a winery. The winery amd lunch were great. Would highly recommend!
We actually did two tours with Prestelli - this one and the six hour tour to 3 wineries. The tour guides were top notch - Alessandra for our Mt. Etna tour, and Elena for the winery tours. Both were extremely knowledgeable as well as wonderful to talk to. We highly enjoyed walking around Mt. Etna and were lucky to have a beautiful day with clear views. The company itself was extremely easy to deal with. Highly recommend using them!
One of the best experiences we have as a family. Our guide Marco was wonderful. Helpful knowledgeable and still let us have our time. The trip to mount Etna was fun and the winery trip was fab. The food was lovely different wines were perfectly introduced and explained. Would highly recommend this tour and especially ask for Marco as a guide. The special wine gifted to us as we celebrated a birthday was also a nice touch.
Private tour. Punctual service, picked up from the hotel, English speaking driver Roberto was great. Had a lovely tour of making honey by hand and tasting local oils and wine. Fabulous guide and tour on mount Etna . Then had a great lunch and tasted two wines in a small old winery. The surroundings were stunning and beautiful. Would recommend this tour and a lot cheaper than booking via Viator tours. Fabulous day to celebrate our Pearl wedding anniversary 🎉
Excellent day seeing Mt Etna and learning about the volcanic process. Antonio was an outstanding guide. Excellent English, positive and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with him! The lunch was excellent. Very generous and we tasted one sparkling, two white and two red wines. A special day. Take this trip - you’ll learn a lot from Antonio and enjoy a lovely lunch!

We had a very great day! Manuele picked us up directly from our hotel. He was really informed about the Etna and the land around the volcano. We also stopped during they way as he showed us some details which you will definitely miss without a guide. The Etna itself was amazing! After we got some great facts about volcanos we had the opportunity for a break in the small restaurant up the mountain. We than received at the vineyard. So beautiful! The winemaker gives us a interessting visit and explained how to make wine. The food we got served was amazing and all the wine we got to try fit great. Definitely a tour to recommend!
