Net buiten het historische centrum van Verona en gemakkelijk te bereiken, biedt de Montresor wijnmakerij een verfijnde wijnervaring die geschiedenis, zintuiglijke ontdekking en proeven combineert. Dit begeleide bezoek neemt u mee door een historische kelder die diep verbonden is met het verleden van de stad, voordat u afsluit met een samengestelde wijnproeverij. U kunt kiezen uit twee verschillende proeverijen : Valpolicella rode wijnen of Gardameer witte wijnen.

- U kunt de wijnmakerij bereiken met de taxi (15 minuten vanaf Arena) of met de bus met bus 21 of 93 vanaf kasteel Castelvecchio (tegenover de ingang van het kasteel). Er is parkeergelegenheid bij de wijnmakerij.

LOVED this. Been on many wine tours and Alessandro was not only so informative but so kind and passionate about what he does. The tour itself is the perfect balance of history/education but fun and interesting. It’s so close to Verona so it’s easy to get to and they have a massive parking lot if you drive. Great value and great quality!

Wonderful- informative and interesting and fun. Great wine tasting. We had our tasting in an oversized wine barrel which made the experience even more fun.

Very quick review. Not worth spending money on Tapas dry bread and get slices of dull sausage. Showed only the expensive wines. It could have been made better

An outstanding excursion from start to finish! The guides were true professionals — knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly attentive. The winery visit was well-organized, and the wine tasting was simply amazing — rich, complex Amarone paired perfectly with local treats. We learned a lot about wines from the area, as well as what the wines would pair best with. The history of the winery and the founders was fascinating. The tasting was lead by a winery family member, who was very knowledgeable and entertaining too. We would have liked to stay longer, but we had a train to catch!
