Vader Brown wandeltocht in Blockley

The walking tour was brilliant. I loved seeing all the locations used for filming. Blockley was beautiful and friendly and the guide was cheery and knowledgeable. Fantastic

John was the perfect guide,being a native of Blockley with encyclopaedic knowledge of Father Brown! We were taken to key film locations where, at each spot, we were shown a photograph of a scene filmed exactly there and given an explanation of the scene and its place in the episode. We were also given an insight into the filming process itself. John even took a souvenir photo of us standing outside "St.Mary's" Church! A very informative and pleasant experience.

It was so fun to see so many of the locations from the filming and our tour guide was able to share so many fun facts about the actors and filming. It was very worth the price.

Really enjoyed our lesurely walk through the beautiful village. There were sone steep hills but this was made clear on booking. Really knowledgeable and friendly guide. Nice to see the familiar sights and chat to fellow Fr Brown fans.

We really enjoyed the Father Brown tour. Blockley is a beautiful place. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable.

We were a group of 12 so as a bonus we had both Lucy and John (and four-legged Dexter) guide us around filming locations and share their experiences working with the cast and crew. The itinerary is cleverly devised - each location on the tour is accompanied with anecdotes and still frames from the show, showing how it has been transformed back to the 1950s by the hard-working "magic" of television. There are some hills to walk up and down (this is Kembleford, after all!), but the pace is very gentle and even with all our questions, the tour fits perfectly into the 90 minutes. Residents of Blockley are proud of their association with Father Brown. It was lovely to have a chance meeting with Reverend Dana, who took time to chat with us all about the Church and her experiences of the show.

Lucy was lovely and great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about tv series and cast. Was lovely to see areas of Blockley where episodes were filmed. She also gave lots of info on other areas where filming took place.
