Dreuzels welkom! Ga New College en de Bodleian Library binnen op een magisch avontuur in de middeleeuwse gebouwen van Oxford University. Met een leuke Oxford student Gids, compleet met een quiz, de af en toe prop, en verschrikkelijke grappen en woordspelingen! Geschikt voor vrome Harry Potter fans, samen met degenen die publiekelijk niet bereid zijn hun toewijding toe te geven, en degenen zonder voorafgaande interesse, maar op zoek naar een leuke manier om te verkennen! De tour omvat andere beroemde boeken zoals Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, de Hobbit en Lord of the Rings - samen met de geschiedenis van Oxford University.

Niet helemaal Flourish and Blotts, maar zo dichtbij als een Dreuzelboekwinkel kan zijn. Blackwells is de droom van elke Ravenklauw, met ongeveer 250.000 boekdelen, wat zich vertaalt naar 3 mijl aan boeken! Dit is nog indrukwekkender als je weet dat hun eerste winkel slechts 12 vierkante meter groot was en slechts 700 gebruikte boeken bevatte. Vergeet niet om van een afstandje naar het dak van het gebouw te kijken. Maak je geen zorgen, de stenen figuur die je bovenop ziet, is niet versteend. Het is een standbeeld van Antony Gormley; een van een reeks sculpturen genaamd "Another Time II".
Een van de grootste bibliotheken, met meerdere gebouwen verspreid over Oxford. Thuisbasis van archaïsche middeleeuwse boeken over spreuken en tovenaars! Vanuit verschillende locaties extern bekeken - zie Goddelijkheid voor onze ingang naar Bodleian.
Ondanks de naam is het een van de oudste Colleges in Oxford, gebouwd in 1379. Met zijn middeleeuwse kloosters en prachtige ruimtes is het gemakkelijk te begrijpen waarom ze besloten om hier meerdere scènes voor Harry Potter te filmen!
Betaalde toegang tot een deel van The Bodleian : Deze meest dramatische site is niet alleen een van de oudste delen van de Bodleian Library University, maar werd ook gebruikt in verschillende scènes toen Harry Potter werd gefilmd in Oxford. De Bodleian is een complex van verschillende gebouwen, dit is het gedeelte dat we betreden. Direct herkenbaar als een Harry Potter site, met een van de beste voorbeelden van middeleeuwse architectuur in Engeland.

- Tijdens het hoogseizoen (juni-augustus) is de toegang tot de Divinity School uiterst beperkt vanwege frequente sluitingen en grote vraag, en is mogelijk niet inbegrepen in de tour. Hoewel sommige bedrijven misschien anders beweren, geven we er de voorkeur aan om vooraf eerlijk te zijn in plaats van het risico op teleurstelling op de dag.

Angus did a fantastic job! He gave a very interesting and well rounded tour of all things Harry Potter in Oxford as well as some fun history and extras! I really enjoyed it.
Great tour! Our guide Henry was very kind and patient. He lead us to many interesting spots of Oxford, mainly those related to Harry Potter's movies. Our daughters did enjoy it!
Robin was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and has a great voice and presence. Very entertaining. The Harry Potter tour was a great overview of Oxford and Harry Potter lore.
We had a wonderful time with Alyssa. The tour was just the right length with some good history of Oxford and plenty of Harry Potter to go around. She was wonderful with the kids in our group - especially my very eager and excited daughter who had lots of questions. It was a great way to see some of Oxford especially as a family (kids are 9 and 6 years old).
Fabulous tour led by V. She provided so much interesting and insightful information throughout the tour. We valued the access to the key buildings, her knowledge and delightful presentation throughout the tour. Highly recommend.
Wonderful Harry Potter tour with our guide Sue. She highlighted all the Harry Potter sites for us, gave us a great insight into the structure of the colleges and faculties at Oxford, and made the tour fun with a Harry Potter quiz. I would definitely recommend this tour for all Harry Potter fans.
An interesting tour of Oxford and the many colleges . Being a Harry Potter Tour I was expecting to enter the colleges where many of the famous scenes were filmed , yes we gained entry to two of the colleges but the main college Christ College where the staircase and dining room feature in all Harry Potter films was missed . Our guide Vee was passionate and full of knowledge of all the literary highlights of Oxford.
Our guide, V, was fantastic! She made the tour engaging for the adults and kids in the group. Asked fun Harry Potter related quiz questions and mentioned such interesting facts about all the locations we visited. Definitely would recommend for any Harry Potter fan! My kids, ages 7 and 9 loved it too!
I went on this tour with my 12 year old son & nephew as well as my sister and Mum. Valentine was our guide and she was amazing. She always spoke loud enough to be heard but was not overbearing. She was was always enthusiastic about her subject and had lots of anecdotes about Harry Potter movies and inspiration as well as useful information about the University. She presented to all members of the (small) group and volunteered to be our photographer. It was a hot day and she always sought out shade for us. It was an easy tour to book and the only reason I took one star off the meeting was that phone connectivity in Oxford is not great and I couldn't easily find where to meet. My suggestion would be to put the meeting place on the ticket (which was saved to my apple wallet). The 1.5hr tour flew by and left us very grateful for our tour.
