Uyuni Salt Flats Privé 3-daagse tour (Palacio Sal 4 * & Tayka 3 *)

This trip was a unique experience, and we highly recommend it. All the trip arrangements were done by Visit South America; well planned and the staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They also arranged border transport from Bolivia to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile, which was very convenient.

Down right one of the most INCREDIBLE experiences I’ve had in South America. The salt flats were incredible but I was equally blown away by the otherworldly landscapes we saw on the other 2 days. The tour guides were also so friendly and chill, we asked them to stop whenever we saw something stunning and they allowed us to get out and see the spaces without any fuss. HIGHLY recommend to any one considering!

You can go ahead. They're not scammers, I traveled with them and everything went very well. And when I did the math, it worked out much better for me to pay on their website than what the ATMs were giving me in bolivianos.

The 3 days tour has been an amazing experience!! Such an incredibile nature, landscape, silence…. The Salar, the lacoons, the desert…Hard to find places like those anymore. Our guide, Alejandro, was super professional, friendly and well prepared. He made it fun with excellence! The VSA staff has been amazing from the first contact to the last help request just before leaving Uyuni. Sofia, Kevin, Jeff… thank you so so much for your help. Our family had a fantastic time visiting the uyuni salt flats thanks to the team at Visit South America. I first want to thank Sofia for helping me modify and arrange the perfect itinerary (multiple times!) in Uyuni and also other locations in Bolivia. She was super helpful with providing details and options for us to explore other cities even though we only booked the private 3 day tour in Uyuni with VSA. Communication with Kevin and Alvaro was also fantastic as they helped with all the questions we had and made sure we were well prepared before we arrived. The 5 star property Palacio de Sal was amazing option for us due to the hearing and warm water that was provided. Not to mention the beautiful spa and pool they had on site! The second night we stayed at Tayka del Desierto and even though it was a bit more rustic we truly felt we had a wonderful unique experience being so secluded in the desert. Our guide Jesus was very kind and warm and helped answer all the questions we had over the 3 days. My husband, two sons, and I had a fantastic vacation thanks to everyone’s efforts. I would highly recommend booking with VSA! We can’t wait to use their services again when we visit Brazil next year. Thank you for all the wonderful memories!

We r four girls taking the 3 days tour, dropping off in chile San Petro de Atacama (add on item). On the third day, after arriving at Atacama, we then joined the moon valley tour (add on item), took the shuttle transfer to calama at night (add on item). Despite the tight itinerary, it has been smooth, allowing us to enjoy the most during the 3 days. 1-2 weeks before the tour, the company arranged a call for us to ask any questions about the tour, visa, weather, anything. It was really useful to us. WhatsApp replies are prompt. Special thanks to our tour guide Ronaldinho and driver Alejandro! They are helpful, funny, really creative in taking photos, took good care of us. Trips are (1) it’s quite cold in winter (I went in Jul). If u seldom live in cold climate, warmer seasons may be more perfect for u (2) rmb to take Diamox to tackle the altitude sickness (3) bring medicine pack in case any sickness.

Amazing trip, everything was so well organised. From the moment we arrived at Uyuni until the border crossing with Chile we were looked after by amazing team of very professional & fun loving people . The trip was very well planned and organised. Bolivia is such a great country, we were dazzled by its beauty all around. Visit South America is one of the best travel company we ever booked through. The 3-day tour is too much if you want to see the Uyuni salt lake. The first day on the lake was great experience. But the other two days on the road, into the desert does not worthy of the harsh road trip. The road is horribly bad and the altitude is high and suffering. The guide and driver are both excellent. People are nice, but the trip is too harsh than I expected.

Good tour to know the Salar and other attractions around Uyuni. The day we liked the most was the first, in the Salar. Last day a little more tired because there's more road time to come back. Thank you especially to our driver/guide Budy who adapted to all our requirements regarding times in one place or another, etc. and made us how many photos we asked. Thank you!!! We couldn't go to the Palacio de Sal hotel because it was complete. But the hotel we were assigned (Boutique Andina de Sal) was great (also special thanks to Ivonette who served us great) and made us, logically the refund of this option.
