Umoljani Village naar Lukomir Village via Obalj Hike vanuit Sarajevo

Als je wilt wandelen, zien en genieten van de wonderen van een oud traditioneel Bosnisch dorp, dan is deze tour zeker jouw match. Na anderhalf uur rijden vanaf onze ontmoetingsplaats bereiken we het dorp Umoljani. Vanaf daar beginnen we aan onze 8 kilometer lange wandeling naar het dorp Lukomir. Het is het hoogste en meest geïsoleerde dorp in heel Bosnië en Herzegovina met een hoogte van 1496 meter. Wanneer we Lukomir bereiken, krijg je de kans om Stećci te zien. Stecci zijn monumentale middeleeuwse grafstenen die verspreid liggen over Bosnië en Herzegovina; er worden naar schatting 60.000 gevonden. Na het verkennen van Lukomir, zullen we genieten van een smakelijke picknicklunch met een panoramisch uitzicht van 360 graden en dan weer teruggaan naar het dorp Umoljani, wat weer een wandeling van 8 kilometer is.

Obalj Peak is een 1.896 meter hoge berg in de Dinarische Alpen en biedt een gematigde wandeling met een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht vanaf de top.
Lukomir, het meest geïsoleerde dorp op de berg Bjelasnica met middeleeuwse Bosnische grafstenen - Stećci.
Studeni Potok is een serene bergbeek nabij Umoljani op de Bjelašnica berg.

This hike was amazing! Exactly what I was looking for. Bosnia & Herzegovina has a great, rich culture, but also a sad recent history. And at some point I wanted to clear my mind and enjoy the beauty of the country. Kamer of Torus Tours took me on the Lukomir hike and it was great. Beautiful nature and a good 17 KM hike with fine incline and small descent. We laughed, we took great pictures and enjoyed the surroundings to the maximum and Kamer brought a very tasty lunch. We were à bit ahead of the season so there was some snow, but that made the hike even cooler. I definately recommend this tour! Thanks again for the great Hike Kamer! And look at these pictures.

While in Sarajevo I again made an excursion with Torus Tours. This time we were in the Highlands of Lukomir. The panorama was at the rendezvous as well as the charm of an authentic village. I am once again very happy with this agency
Honestly, the best part was our guide Kamer. He not only provided us a great tour of a beautiful place, but served as our trip photographer. And he did a great job too! The hike was beautiful, the lunch provided was delicious, and his company was delightful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with Torus!
