"Hoogtepunten van de stad, The Butchart Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, Wine Tasting en Craigdarroch Castle" Dit pakket is de beste van Victoria, we beginnen met vroeg naar de Butchart Gardens om de drukte te vermijden, en je hebt maximaal 2 uur om de tuinen en de cadeauwinkel te verkennen. We gaan dan naar de Butterfly Gardens, gevolgd door een lokale wijnproeverij bij Church and State Winery. Je hebt dan de mogelijkheid om te lunchen in hun Bistro, of we hebben een eenvoudige lunch op de Red Barn Market, waar ze de beste broodjes op het eiland maken. Vanaf daar zullen we genieten van een mooie rit door het land terug naar Victoria om onze weg te vinden naar het historische kasteel Craigdarroch. Daarna volgen we een rondleiding door de stad met een bezoek aan enkele van de mooiste bezienswaardigheden van de stad, zoals het landgoed van de luitenant-gouverneur, het Beacon Hill Park, Mile 0, Fisherman's Wharf House Boat Community en het oudste Chinatown van Canada. We nemen de tijd voor foto's in de binnenhaven.

U zult genieten van het woord beroemde Butchart Gardens. Dit is een landgoed van 50 hectare dat is omgevormd van een oude kalkgroeve tot een geweldige weergave van planten en bloemen, in een bosrijke omgeving. Dit is een van de mooiste plekken die je ooit zult bezoeken, ongeacht de tijd van het jaar.
Proef enkele van de beste lokale wijnen op Vancouver Island in hun prachtige faciliteit met uitzicht op de wijngaard op het schiereiland Saanich. U kunt ook de tijd nemen om te lunchen in hun bistro op hun terras met uitzicht op hun wijngaard.

We rijden door het grootste landgoed in de binnenstad van 31 hectare aan prachtige tuinen. We zijn niet toegestaan in het huis, maar we zullen het pand betreden en stoppen voor foto's en enkele van de prachtige gronden verkennen.
We rijden door het grootste stadspark van de stad. Het park biedt prachtige tuinen, wilde vogels zoals wilde ganzen, pauwen en een kleine kinderboerderij. Het park is ook de thuisbasis van 's werelds hoogste totempaal die op 127' lang 7 staat "
We nemen de tijd om door de oudste Chinatown van Canada te rijden, waar ook de smalste steeg van Fan Tan Alley ligt.
Kom langs om de Fisherman's Wharf van Victoria te zien. De thuisbasis van een aantal zeer unieke woonboten, lokale eetgelegenheden zoals Barbs Fish and Chips, en een paar meer ..
We stoppen om foto's te maken van de prachtige parlementsgebouwen. Het Parlement is 's nachts net zo mooi als overdag. Het wordt verlicht met meer dan 3000 lichten die de mooie architect van het gebouwenoverzicht schetsen.
We stoppen bij Mount Tolmie om te genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht over Victoria en de omgeving.
We nemen de tijd om te stoppen voor foto's van het prachtige en historische Empress Hotel. We zullen er ook geschiedenis van leren.

Alan and his company was fantastic. Picked our group of 6 up at airport and transported us to hotel. Next day we did a city snd garden tour. Since he was dropping us off a ferry terminal, he transported us and our luggage around. Took care of us with water all day and took us by wonderful market to get lunch. Learned so much about Victoria. Highly recommended and will use again

Our Australian family of four found ourselves in Victoria for a few days and wanted to see as much as we possibly could with the limited time that we had available. As we didn't have a car, we booked several private full day tours with Surfside Tours. Alan was a great guide, tailoring the itinerary to our interests. He was very accommodating and genuinely tried to fill the time with things that would be of interest to our group. My son and husband are keen kite surfers and they really appreciated being taken to the beach to watch the locals kite. We also thoroughly enjoyed the castle tours and could have easily spent even more time in Craigdarroch than we had allowed. Finishing the day with the Christmas lights at Butchart Gardens was just perfect. Thanks again for a great few days Alan! Hopefully we'll see you again in the Summer one year.
