Hallo van Cyprus Taste Tours! We zijn een klein team van echte foodies en onze activiteiten richten zich op het ontdekken van Cyprus door middel van eten & wijn... Je wordt door zorgvuldig geselecteerde dorpjes naar het Troodosgebergte gereden om 4 - 5 traditionele productworkshops te bezoeken en een verscheidenheid aan Cypriotische delicatessen te proeven. Een van deze stops is een wijnmakerij plus een bezoek aan het schilderachtige dorpje Omodos. Je ervaart voedingsmiddelen* zoals halloumi, dorpsbrood, wijn, johannesbroodhoning, olijfolie en traditionele zoetigheden. We halen je op bij een Limassol locatie naar keuze. Ons team garandeert u een fantastisch dagje uit - we halen het meeste uit uw tijd bij ons en nemen u mee op een reis op maat door Cyprus dorpen. Opgericht in 2011 - we zijn ervan overtuigd dat we de beste plekken kennen en we stoppen nooit met verkennen! We zijn allemaal volledig getraind in de traditionele gerechten en wijn van het eiland en u zult zeker een professionele, 5-sterren ervaring ontvangen. We toeren door de Troodos bergdorpen voor een hele dag vol foodie plezier! * We houden onze tours authentiek door echte locals te bezoeken en omdat deze lokale dorpelingen bezig zijn met het dagelijks leven - kunnen we niet garanderen welke stops we zullen opnemen... U kunt er echter zeker van zijn dat u 4 - 5 fantastische plaatsen in de Troodos bergdorpen zult bezoeken en een foodie dagje uit zult beleven als geen ander! Sommige van de mogelijke plekken staan hieronder vermeld, maar andere zijn niet te vinden op Tripadvisor en zullen niet op de lijst verschijnen. Alle geldende entreegelden, proeverijen en lunchkosten zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen.
Een prachtig rustiek dorp in de regio Limassol waar je veel traditionele etenswaren en wijn vindt! Je zult ook genieten van een authentieke meze-lunch met drankjes inbegrepen in een van de lokale taverna's hier.
Een gelegenheid om een historisch klooster te bezoeken en het terrein te verkennen.
Je krijgt ook de kans om de dorpsmusea te verkennen.
We bezoeken deze fantastische boetiekwijnmakerij in familiebezit, waar we door het terrein zullen toeren om de productiefaciliteiten te zien, praten over het maken van wijn, de kelder bezoeken en een wijnproeverij voltooien. Dit wijnhuis produceert slechts 50.000 flessen per jaar, waardoor het een kleine boetiekwijnmakerij is. Hoewel u sommige van hun wijnen in gespecialiseerde winkels kunt vinden, zijn veel van hun labels alleen hier bij de wijnmakerij te vinden en uw proeverij zal er zeker enkele bevatten. We leren alles over de 5000 jaar + wijngeschiedenis van Cyprus en proberen de beroemde zoete wijn Commandaria.
We verkennen de landelijke gebieden en cultuur van Cyprus door de wereld van eten en wijn! LET OP : De Troodos bergketen omspant Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos en Nicosia en het is in de bergachtige gebieden van deze districten dat je de landelijke dorpen van Cyprus vindt. Deze tour doet het Troodosplein NIET aan en zal alleen verschillende dorpen binnen het Troodos berggebied aandoen.

Thank you to Cyprus Taste Tours for a wonderful tour in Cyprus. All the wine houses were awesome but Ayia Mavri winery stuck out. To meet the lovely Mr Ioannis Ioannidou, the 90 year old owner was a delight. The food on the trip was awesome and the people - just lovely. Our tour guide Theodora was so informative and it was great to spend time seeing the scenery. We loved every minute THANKYOU!!

It is an experience that I strongly advise all those who wish to know a little bit better the food and wines of Cyprus, as well as the landscapes of the interior and the way of life of the populations in the villages and villages of the mountains. I liked the tour immensely, it was a wonderful day, with sun and little wind, and I traveled only in the company of the guide Panicos and another tourist. So, almost a private tour...! The car, spacious and comfortable, was driven with safety and professionalism by the guide, congratulations for wine tasting and local food were all very good, with quality and without rush. The guide was very friendly and informative, clarifying all our doubts and questions. The pickup and arrival to the hotel took place within the scheduled time and there were no incidents. Highlight the lunch (type “meze”), of great abundance and good quality. I advise future participants to take only one light breakfast (or even none), since there will be more than enough food and drink throughout the day...!! The company was very professional and made a question of contacting me by email and WhatsApp to reconfirm all the details. Not to lose!

It was simply a great tour. We had actually booked a German-speaking tour from another provider, but it was canceled due to too few participants. So we had to rebook, which turned out to be our luck. We rebooked to a slightly more expensive tour, but we definitely got our money's worth. With Helena (who also spoke German) who made such an effort to translate many things for us, we hit the jackpot. The whole tour was fantastic. Thank you, Helena.

Hotel pick-up, great wine tasting and a good late local meze lunch, as well as visit to the small village Lomodos, a meat smoking facility + shop and a rose factory. The later producing all kind of rose flavoured drink alternatives and beaty products. Theodora was a great guide, THANK YOU! Highly recommended

Had Georgina, she was absolutely fabulous in creating a great atmosphere and ensured that she remembered everyones names and that everyone was included. Brilliant wealth of knowledge and was really personable. There was 6 of us (2x couples and 2x solo) and that was just the right size of group for all of us to mix with who we wanted to. Total time being in the car for the experience was about 7/8hours long, had time to take photos of surroundings, to wonder off in one of the small towns, take our time with eating and drinking, this isn't including the time to be picked up or dropped back off. Price for this ticket I think is fair, especially with what we got to experience and learn with Georgina leading the way. She was truely the make-it-or-break-it where she definitely made it an amazing experience. Thank you very much!
