Troodos-gebergte 4x4-tour met Meze-lunch vanuit Limassol
Beschrijving
Breng de dag door met reizen door het beboste Troodosgebergte en ontdek enkele van Cyprus' wildste landschappen tijdens deze 4x4 tour. Zie wijngaarden, watervallen, bergdorpjes zoals Lefkara, dennenbossen en meer. We trappen de actie af bij de indrukwekkende Dipotamos Dam voor een fotostop. Vervolgens gaat het naar het slaperige bergdorp Lefkara, bekend om zijn ingewikkeld gemaakte kant en zilverwerk. We gaan een beetje off-piste naar Mesa Potamos Forest waar je ook kunt deelnemen aan een optionele wandeling. Zodra je trek hebt opgebouwd, wordt er een lunch in meze-stijl geserveerd in een dorpstaverna. Daarna gaan we naar een prachtige boswaterval met ijskoud water dat 20 meter naar beneden stroomt. Er is ook een stop voor wat wijnproeverij.

Bezoek Lefkara Village, wereldwijd bekend om zijn zilverwerk en handgemaakte kant. Geniet van een gratis welkomstdrankje.
Rijd door het Mesa Potamos Forest langs de rivier stroomopwaarts. Begin je kleine mini trektocht door het bos op weg naar de rivier. In een idyllische omgeving heeft u de mogelijkheid om prachtige foto's te maken.
Vergeet de lunch niet: Inbegrepen in dit avontuurlijke pakket is een uiterst memorabele lunch met een scala aan vers bereide lokale gerechten, waaronder vegetarische opties. Wijn, water en limonade worden gratis geserveerd in deze all-inclusive maaltijd in een comfortabele en schone bergdorp taverna.
Een fantastisch natuurwonder, een bergwaterval met ijskoud water dat van een rotsachtige klif naar beneden valt. Deze paradijselijke plek, met zijn weelderige vegetatie en koel bronwater, zal zowel uw lichaam als ziel ontspannen.
Wijnproeverij : onze volgende stop is bij een lokale wijnmakerij waar u verschillende regionale heerlijke wijnen gratis kunt proeven.

Zeus our guide was excellent, very informative and shared a lot of historical facts about the place. He is courteous and professional and tour was conducted very professionally. The tour overall covers a lot of interesting spots in and around Troodos mountains, overall a greatly planned and well executed tour.
While the tour guide was nice the whole trip was disappointing. Dont even think of going if you have any form of motion sickness, the car ride was uncomfortable unless you sat in the front. the places we stoped at were mostly shops and cafes not as expected. The waterfall was disappointing too. The only redeeming feature was that the lunch was amazing. unfortunately I wanted to enjoy this trip which i found difficult to do.
Great excursion to the Troodos Mountains from our hotel in Limassol. Small group of 10 people, privileged visits to typical villages, monastery and church, Omodos adorable village. A very good memory, shared with family. However, be careful in winter low temperatures

It is a really must see and the tour is very nicely put togheter. You see pitoreske towns, nice mountain views (+waterfall) and have a meze lunch which was really good. In the afternoon there is also an entertaining wine tasting. The drivers are the nicest and they challenge you but make you feel comfortable! Loved it would very much recommend everyone.

Attractive and interesting drivers. Lefkora, waterfall, wine tasting - I liked it the best. I wanted more mountain roads than traditional tracks.

Very nice village in the Limassol Cyprus. Is a oasis of quietness and chill especially if there is a hot summer day. ☀️. In the center there are few restaurants, I really recommend to try the local 🍷 🍷 🍷 (white, rose and red), and order some mezze. Enjoy your time in Troodos

A long day through the mountains with 6 people in each 4x4. Several stops to break up the driving. The waterfalls were just a trickle for our visit (May). Lunch provided at hilltop restaurant was quite good. Overall, good value.

Lovely day out would definitely recommend. Our driver Rick was lovely, shared information about the island and was genuinely a nice guy. Made some memories we'll never forget (where's the sick bag?!) advisable for those who suffer with travel sickness to take a bag and not to travel in the back of yh vehicle sitting sideways 😆

Fantastic trip Vasoss our driver was very good and helpful, we got to places you would never go yourselves, great villages and local bars, a full day !! The only problem we had was the pickup at the hotel that should of been 830am but was printed on the ticket as 9am vasoss hang around waiting for us !!
