A somber experience, but informative and valuable. My guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We spent about 2.5 hrs at the site.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad to hear the visit to Treblinka was meaningful and that your guide provided a friendly and informative experience. It’s truly a somber place, and we appreciate you taking the time to engage with its important history. We hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
Such an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. Artur was so friendly A⭐ He took us to a Polish restaurant on return and helped with the ordering too. When he explained Polish food, on return he took us to a supermarket. He made our trip very personal (which was humbling after our tour which is very emotional & difficult in parts)
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that Artur made your Treblinka tour both informative and personal. His knowledge, friendliness, and extra touches—like introducing you to Polish cuisine and helping at the supermarket—truly reflect his dedication to guests. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him.
In depth look at Treblinka which includes excellent preparation beforehand using video and the small museum combined with a very informative walk of Treblinka grounds. Recommend reviewing web resources on the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto and Treblinka extermination prior to the trip as prior knowledge of the facility layout enhances the tour and helps make up for the lack of original structures present at other camps. My guide Artur was Excellent
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear that the combination of the video introduction, museum, and guided walk through the Treblinka grounds helped provide a meaningful and informative visit. We're also thrilled to hear that Artur made a strong impression — we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. Thank you again for your recommendation and for taking the time to reflect on your visit.
The camp does not have almost any remains and it lacks of information on each site ; the museum has very few items. It was interesting but we expected to see actually more things.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Treblinka is indeed a solemn and minimalist site, as most of its original structures were destroyed by the Germans to conceal their crimes. The memorial and museum aim to honor the victims and preserve history, but we understand that the lack of physical remains can feel underwhelming. Please note that we are not responsible for how much can be seen at the site, as it is managed by the museum itself. We appreciate your input and hope it was still a meaningful experience.
If you are traveling to Poland, Poland Travel is a great tour operator. Olga was wonderful and patient in helping me plan. We've had many tours and many private guides around the world. and Krystian and Woltek are among the best! In Poland, my wife and I also had tour booked through Viator - the contrast was immense . Although Viator has been a great tour provide in other locations, the tour operator they use in Poland (at least on tht tours I took) was far less than satisfactory and did not compare to Poland Travel!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience with Poland Travel and that Olga, Krystian, and Woltek were able to make your trip memorable. It's always our goal to provide exceptional service and unforgettable tours, and we're glad to have met your expectations. Thank you for choosing Poland Travel, and we hope to welcome you and your wife on another tour soon. Safe travels!
A very sombering and thought provoking tour. The lack of any visible history are replaced by symbolic monuments and statues. Our guide "Anna" was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and without her the tour would definitely not of been the same.
