Tijdens deze drie uur durende tour bezoeken we zes Hoogstgewaardeerde eetgelegenheden om iconische Poolse hoofdgerechten te proeven, waaronder Sour Rye Soup, drie soorten Pierogi, Gołąbki (gevulde koolbroodjes), Silezische Roulade en overheerlijke Pączki (traditionele donuts). Je reis omvat ook ambachtelijk brood met gezouten boter, de beroemdste chocoladesnack van Polen, twee verschillende wodka's en Kompot, een traditionele fruitdrank. Met 12 totaalproeverijen staat deze ervaring gelijk aan een volledig driegangenmenu. Kom hongerig en plan zeker niet voor het diner achteraf! Tussen de haltes door deel ik verhalen over het verleden en heden van de stad en bied ik een dieper, authentieker begrip van Warschau en Polen dat veel verder gaat dan de culinaire scene. U ontvangt ook een interactieve kaart met must-visit plekken om u te helpen na de tour met vertrouwen door de stad te navigeren.

We trappen de boel af op Plac Pięciu Rogów, het bruisende hart van Warschau, waar je een introductie krijgt tot de tour
Onze eerste eetstop is een traditionele Milk Bar - een must-visit voor iedereen die Warschau verkent, bekend om zijn zelfgemaakte gerechten en nostalgische communistische sfeer. We beginnen met pierogi, een echt hoofdbestanddeel van de Poolse keuken, terwijl we genieten van de unieke sfeer van deze iconische plek
Dit is onze belangrijkste eetgelegenheid. In dit traditionele Poolse restaurant proeven we enkele van de hoofdgerechten van Polen: pierogi - het meest iconische nationale gerecht van het land, placki ziemniaczane - een van de lekkerste specialiteiten uit de Poolse keuken, en een selectie gegrilde worsten.
Geen goede food tour in Polen zou compleet zijn zonder wodka! Maar we beginnen met een versie die echt lekker is — een zachte wodkalikeur met kweepeer. En voor degenen die de volledige Poolse ervaring willen, doen we ook een shot pure wodka, achtervolgd met een schijfje citroen
In deze straat, vernoemd naar Winnie de Poeh in een kinderstemming uit de jaren vijftig, praten we over de naoorlogse wederopbouw van Warschau, een heroïsche inspanning die ongekende maatregelen vereiste, waaronder de oprichting van het grootste en machtigste architectenbureau ter wereld
We bespreken kort de Tweede Wereldoorlog en de blijvende impact ervan op Warschau - een geschiedenis die de stad heeft gevormd tot wat je vandaag de dag ziet
We leren het verhaal achter het beroemdste chocolademerk van Polen, E.Wedel, stappen binnen in het iconische interieur van zijn flagshipstore en proeven de legendarische 'Ptasie Mleczko' - een geliefde traktatie die Polen al sinds de jaren 1930 verrukt
Op Tłusty Czwartek (dikke donderdag) doet elke zichzelf respecterende Pool zijn uiterste best met minstens één pączek - hoewel we er in werkelijkheid ongeveer 100 miljoen op één dag verslinden, gemiddeld 2,5 per persoon! Een van de meest legendarische plekken om ze te krijgen is Blikle, een historische bakkerij uit de jaren 1860, beroemd om zijn rijke, traditionele receptuur

Great food tour with Kuba! Fun way to try multiple dishes, along with good conversation and a stroll around a couple of neighborhoods. Kuba even gave us additional suggestions to take with us.
I'm a foodie and love to try local foods whenever I visit different countries. The tour was great! Kuba made sure everyone was well informed and explained every dish and drinks we tried.
