Deze tour omvat 4-5 uur wandelen in Hakone (ongeveer 8-9 km) en je moet fit zijn om het te voltooien. Je doorkruist de buitenste rand van de Hakone-caldera en geniet van lunch en onsen in deze ervaring. De 90 minuten durende klim naar de bergtop heeft een hoogteverschil van 500 meter. Dan geeft de 2,5 uur durende nokwandeling je een panoramisch uitzicht over het Hakone-gebied (. Terwijl je door het bamboeveld loopt, hoor je de vogels zingen en zie je sakura in de lente, rode bladeren in de herfst en stap je op de poedersneeuw in de diepe winter. Na de bergkamwandeling daal je in 30 minuten de berg af en bereik je Sengokuhara. Daarna lunch in een lokaal Japans restaurant. Onsen volgt voor ontspanning. Als het weer goed is, kun je Mt Fuji meestal zien terwijl je op de bergkam loopt. Zelfs als Mt Fuji zich achter de wolken verschuilt, heb je tijdens deze doorkruisende bergwandeling nog steeds uitzicht op Miyagino en Sengokuhara. We gaan met een gecharterde taxi naar de trailhead. Transportkosten zijn niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs.

Je wandelt de bergen op aan de buitenrand van de Hakone-caldera. We bereiken de trailhead per taxi en beginnen de wandeling vanaf ongeveer 700 meter boven zeeniveau. De temperatuur is over het algemeen lager in de berg op dit niveau.
Je wandelt langs de bergkam nadat je de bergtop hebt bereikt. De bergkamwandeling duurt ongeveer 2,5 - 3 uur of langer als u meer foto's maakt of tussenstops maakt. Dit is het hoogtepunt van deze tour omdat het uitzicht op de bergkam spectaculair is. Onderweg kon je de Stille Oceaan, de stad Hakone, het Ashi-meer, de vulkanische stoom van Owakudani, de berg Fuji en meer zien.

Geniet van een lokale lunch in dit gebied. Er zijn soba, udon, Japanse curry en verwesterde restaurants in dit gebied. Ik zal een goede voorstellen op basis van uw keuze en beschikbaarheid. Eten zou een hoogtepunt van elke reis moeten zijn.
Je gaat naar een onsen met zowel binnen- als buitenbaden om de vermoeide spieren van de trektocht te verlichten. De onsen heeft een legendarische geneeskrachtige werking. Deze ervaring kan worden aangepast aan uw voorkeur.

Absolutely wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Aki made the logistics of a day-long experience seamless. We enjoyed learning about the area along our hike, the snacks he brought were great, and the onsen after lunch was perfect.
This was an amazing experience! Aki, our guide, was incredibly kind and served us tea and snacks. He also took great pictures, and we had a fantastic view of Mount Fuji, clear of any clouds. I highly recommend this tour!

Quite a challenging hike if you are not reasonably fit (well we are in our 60's)! But well worth doing if you are fit or just like a challenge! So in the last 10 days, we have had many highlights during our trip to Japan but this haa to be the highlight of all highlights - partly becauae we were so lucky with the weather to get perfect sights of a snow capped Mount Fuji, and partly because we were so well looked after by our guide Akihiri, with his information and general chat - he was great company! The Onson after the trek was very relaxing way to round off the day 😊

Aki was an amazing tour guide! We had a very large group of 8 people and he accommodated us super well. Our group had varying fitness levels, so I will have to come back for the full hike. I would highly recommend this hike with Aki, it is a great escape from the city and really has amazing views. We got a great view of Fuji. Best of all was a surprise Aki made for us on the hike. Mr. Akihiro was very friendly throughout the trip and would also actively help us take pictures. The coffee he cooked during the break was also good to drink, the overall experience was very pleasant, and next time I have a chance to come again.

We did this tour on the last day of our Japan trip and it was a perfect ending! So nice to get away from the crowds and into nature. Akihiro was super knowledgeable of the area. He planned a great route and took amazing photos throughout. Highly recommend this tour!

Aki was a great guide! We had a lovely hike in middle to late October. While we didn't get visibility the day of of our hike, Aki offered us a few options for routes and we still enjoyed the hike he selected for the day as it was very quiet and it was practically as if the trails were fully just for us that day. We enjoyed the soba lunch spot he took us too as well as the onsen for relaxing post hike. Many thanks to Aki - he was a wonderful guide full of deep knowledge around the surrounding plants and animals to the trail. There were many steps to this hike - just something to be aware of!

This was a moderately challenging but incredibly beautiful hike along the ridge of the Hakone caldera. The views of the surrounding countryside were incredible, and the views of mount Fuji were superb even with the clouds. Akihiro was a wonderful guide who knew a lot about the surrounding woods. He chose a trail that was almost entirely empty of other hikers even on a busy day. He was very good at tailoring pickup and dropoff at the beginning and end of the tour to each traveler's specific travel plans. If you enjoy a moderate challenge and want a guide for an excellent hike in a beautiful region, this trip is perfect.

Giving it was raining the guide and I decided to change hike to another he runs along the Hachiri road through Hakone mountains. It is the road Samurai clans took through mountains from Kyoto to Tokyo during edo period. Interesting hike and the guide Akihiro was very knowledgeable about the history.
