Geniet van een tour naar de piramides van het oude Egypte, te beginnen met de Grote Piramides van Gizeh en de Sfinx, de Dahshur-piramides, het oude Memphis en de necropolis van Saqqara. Vertegenwoordiger haalt je op bij je hotel in Caïro, geniet van je privédagtour naar piramides, Dahshour en Saqqara, begin bij de piramides van Gizeh, bezoek de piramide van koning Cheops, Chephren en Mycerinus, rijd naar het panoramagebied om gedenkwaardige foto's van de drie piramides samen te maken , ga door met een bezoek aan de Sfinx en de Valleitempel, Dahshour om de eerste complete piramide (de rode piramide), de gebogen piramide te bezoeken, de twee piramides zijn eigendom van koning Senefro, daarna ga je naar Saqqara, de oudste necropolis van koningen, prinsen en edelen. Vertegenwoordiger haalt je op bij je hotel om te genieten van een excursie om een van de zeven wonderen van de antieke wereld te bezoeken De grote piramide van Khufu's (Cheops), 3 kleine piramides Je gaat door met het verkennen van de rest van het plateau van Gizeh, inclusief de aanblik van Khafre's (kaphren) piramide - Khufu's zoon, de op een na grootste piramide op de plaats van Gizeh, de overblijfselen van de begrafenistempel, de piramide van Mankawra (Mykerinus) en 3 kleine piramides. Ga dan verder met een bezoek aan de Grote Sfinx, het hoofd van een farao met het lichaam van een leeuw, dat dateert uit de tijd van Chefren; de tour omvat ook een bezoek aan de Valley-tempel, die behoort tot de piramides van chefren. Deze tempel diende zeker twee functies: ten eerste werd het gebruikt voor de zuivering van de mummie van de koning voordat deze werd begraven. Ten tweede werd het gebruikt voor het mummificatieproces van de koning. Na een bezoek aan de piramides, ga je verder over het plateau voor een fotomoment van drie piramides.
Ga dan naar de trappenpiramide van Zoser, 's werelds oudste grote stenen structuur. Het werd gebouwd in de 3e dynastie (rond 2630 voor Christus) voor koning Djoser, het museum van I mhotep, het graf van een hoge functionaris, de piramide van koning titi, de piramide van koning unas.
Ga vervolgens naar het zuiden en bezoek de Rode Piramide en de Gebogen Piramide in Dahshur, Dahshur is een beroemde koninklijke necropolis in Egypte met vele beroemde piramides, waaronder de rode en gebogen piramides van koning Snefru. De site ligt op ongeveer 40 km van Caïro.
Na die transfer naar Memphis, dat werd gesticht door koning Menes, en de hoofdstad van het oude Egypte was tijdens de, werd het beschouwd als een centrum van heerschappij en cultuur gedurende meer dan 3000 jaar de eerste hoofdstad van Egypte. De stad bereikte een hoogtepunt van prestige onder de 6e dynastie als centrum voor de aanbidding van Ptah, de god van de schepping en kunstwerken. De albasten sfinx die de tempel van Ptah bewaakt, dient als een gedenkteken voor de vroegere macht en het prestige van de stad. De Memphis-triade, bestaande uit de scheppergod Ptah, zijn gemalin Sekhmet en hun zoon Nefertem, vormde de belangrijkste focus van aanbidding in de stad. Memphis daalde kort na de 18e dynastie met de opkomst van Thebe en het Nieuwe Koninkrijk, en werd nieuw leven ingeblazen onder de Perzen voordat het stevig op de tweede plaats viel na de stichting van Alexandrië en het standbeeld van Ramses II-16 meter hoog zag, de albasten sfinx, u wordt teruggebracht naar uw hotel of luchthaven.

We wnt to Dahahur, Sakkara, and Memphis. I have to say that the experience was superb because of our guide, George. He was so knowledgeable and made the stories and facts so interesting. It was a wonderful experience. The pyramids are beautiful and fascinating but it's how one tells the stories that make or break the trip. And George was definitely worth it. Unlike other tour guides, George was only into telling the stories and least concerned about tips. A very big thing in Egypt!
This activity is a driving service, not guided. But I enjoyed it very much because I like to explore on my own. There is some information on the spot ou online audio guides if you are interested. This is a very good priced service for what I have found around. And it takes you to all the spots you need. I enjoyed more the experience in the interior of all other pyramids, like the red or stepped one, when compared to Giza. But Giza complex is a must do of course. A wonder.
George was an archaeologist who did a nice job explaining things for me & my granddaughter. It was a very long day but with the driver we covered a lot of territory.

Walid took is everywhere - the pyramids, the Sphinx, and several stops where we could purchase items such as papyrus paintings and essential oils. He has an amazing knowledge of Egyptian history and he was both kind and patient. Our driver was also wonderful!

It was amazing to see all the sights! Our guide Walid was incredibly knowledgable in the history of Egypt and shared so much with us. We did the camel tour at the pyramids and that was a very new experience! Time got away from us and we didn't see the Sphinx up close that day though. Our driver, Ahmed, was great!

The tour to the pyramids was in general nice. I liked the place, so visiting the pyramids and the Sphinx was very fascinating. My Guide took me to the entrance and we went inside. There he brought me to a guide for camel riding which offered me the ride for insane prices. I asked if there is no other chance to explore the area but the Guide told me that the area is to big for walking. I've got the impression that the Guide was working together with the camel guy to earn as much money as they could. For a "discount" they forced me to go on the tour, which was nice but not worth the money for the ride. In the end there was the feeling left that they cheated on me.
