Een kustrondleiding door de stad van noord naar zuid, waarbij u de economische activiteiten, de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en de geschiedenis ontdekt, allemaal verteld door een lokale gids.
We stoppen op deze plek om te genieten van het hoogste panoramische uitzicht over de stad, een unieke locatie waar de vlaggen van Puerto Madryn trots wapperen en de rijke geschiedenis en diversiteit van onze regio symboliseren. Hier krijgt u ook de gelegenheid om het imposante Monument voor de Tehuelche-indianen te bewonderen, een eerbetoon aan de oorspronkelijke culturen die dit land bewoonden en wier erfenis nog steeds voortleeft in onze identiteit. Dit uitzichtpunt is niet alleen een plek vol geschiedenis, maar ook een ruimte om vanuit de hoogte in contact te komen met het landschap en de essentie van Puerto Madryn.
We reizen langs de zuidkust en komen aan bij Punta Este, een panoramisch uitzichtpunt vanwaar we het majestueuze schip Folias bij eb kunnen bewonderen en meer te weten kunnen komen over zijn rijke geschiedenis. De schoonheid van de plek en de Patagonische wind geven ons het gevoel één te zijn met het landschap. Van daaruit zullen we het klassieke Patagonische landschap, met name de RESTINGAS en de kiezelstranden, observeren.
Dit reservaat is het eerste en oudste in onze provincie. Daar leven de zeeleeuwen, zowel mannetjes als vrouwtjes en pups, het hele jaar door, waardoor we elk seizoen de nieuwe pups kunnen ontmoeten. Een verscheidenheid aan vogels leeft samen met de zeeleeuwen; de vegetatie en fauna nodigen ons uit om te genieten van een aangename, eenvoudige en gemakkelijk begaanbare omgeving.
Als u vanaf de zeeleeuwenkolonie Punta Loma nog 3 km verder naar het zuiden loopt, vindt u CERRO AVANZADO, een indrukwekkend uitzichtpunt vanwaar u een prachtig panorama over het reservaat heeft. Daar kunnen ze een kleine heuvel beklimmen die niet moeilijk is en de unieke geografie van de zeebodem in het gebied bekijken; het is geschikt voor alle leeftijden. Ze zullen Patagonië op een andere manier beleven, te midden van de steppevegetatie, de kleiheuvels en een unieke mogelijkheid om te genieten van een picknick met zelfgemaakte empanada's en streekwijnen.

We booked late Tuesday for a Wednesday morning trip. Rodrigo met us at the end of the pier. As there was only 2 of us we had a car and our guide was Juan. We did a tour of the town and south beaches, including various monuments, Juan was very informative. We stopped for a snack and drink on a lovely beach. Our last stop was Punta Loma where we saw the seal lions. Highly recommend and reasonably priced, and nothing was rushed!

A great tour of the town, it's industry, history and fabulous secluded beaches. And, DON'T forget the sea lions. Our guide, Juan was incredibly knowledgeable and, being a local, could tell us all the personal information that you don't normally get on a big tour. Oh, and how could I forget the empanadas!

We went on an excursion on February 11. Roberto, our guide, did a wonderful job. Despite the strong wind, we made all the planned stops. The viewpoint where we observed elephant seals was very convenient, and it was possible to take stunning photos. The next stop was especially impressive: we climbed one of the nearby hills (wear sneakers, as the ascent and descent can be slippery) and saw a breathtaking view of Patagonia. Afterwards, we had lunch with Malbec and the most delicious homemade empanadas prepared by Roberto and his wife. We recommend this trip. Thank you Katerina and George

Excellent tour for those coming in on cruise ships. Our guide met us at the pier holding a sign with our name so meeting up with him was seamless. Our ship was late getting in but I was able to communicate with our guide in advance and he was extremely accommodating. We saw the city’s highlights without the crowds of a busy bus and learned the history of this beautiful town. Our guide even brought homemade empanadas and a bottle of Malbec for a picnic lunch at the gulf - and insisted we take the leftovers with us (nearly a dozen!) It was a relaxing day, our car was comfortable, our driver was safe, and both made us feel extremely welcome.
