Tour Moray & zoutmijnen met textielbezoek in Chinchero |Privé|

De tour begint met het ophalen van het hotel en maakt vervolgens een reis van 1 uur en 20 minuten naar onze eerste plaats van bezoek, tijdens de reis zullen we genieten van met sneeuw bedekte bergen, lagunes, maïs- en aardappelvelden. De eerste plaats Moray (landbouwlaboratorium) waar we Andes-terrassen in ronde vorm kunnen waarderen en die in de diepten van de aarde zijn uitgehouwen, in de vorm van een kom, werden gebruikt om producten aan te passen aan verschillende klimaten. Na het bezoek aan Moray gaan we naar "Salineras" of "zout van Maras". We kunnen meer dan 3500 zoutbedden vinden die strategisch naast de berg zijn uitgehouwen en die worden gevuld door waterkanalen. Al terug naar de stad Cusco komen we door een pittoresk dorpje "Chinchero", de bakermat van de regenboog, deze stad wordt gekenmerkt door het feit dat de Andes-textieltechniek nog steeds bewaard is gebleven.

we vinden de archeologische site van Moray, een agrarisch onderzoekscentrum in Inca, waar de producten worden aangepast aan verschillende klimaten met een terrassysteem.
We bezoeken de stad Maras, ook bekend als de stad van de portalen, gelegen in de provincie Urubamba op 3300 m.a.s.l. Gelegen op 52 km van de stad Cusco. Het herbergt de belangrijkste mijnen van de Inca-periode en wordt van het begin tot het heden geëxploiteerd.

Christian was a wonderful tour guide. He shared detailed historical facts and current events about Moray and Msras. He was patient and answered every question we had. Our driver, Wilson, even stopped at a pasture for us so we could take photos of the alpacas and llamas (that was not part of the itinerary).
