Wij zijn de enigen die u in één dag naar Monte Albán en Hierve el Agua kunnen brengen. En om het nog interessanter te maken, hebben we er handgemaakte producten en mezcal aan toegevoegd. Slechts 20 minuten van de stad zal de maximale archeologische zone zijn die Oaxaca heeft, rondleiding binnen de zone. Monte Alban is de maximale hoofdstad van Zapotec, het is spectaculair en we gaan je elk historisch detail van de plaats geven.
De stad Teotitlán del Valle ligt op 30 kilometer van de stad Oaxaca en de betekenis ervan is "plaats van de goden" in de Nahuatl-taal. Het is beroemd vanwege de kwaliteit en schoonheid van zijn wollen textielproducten: vloerkleden, jassen, tassen, serapes, wandtapijten, "gangen", vloerkleden, gordijnen en jurken, gemaakt op grote houten weefgetouwen en versierd met natuurlijke kleurstoffen, waarvan de ontwerpen variëren van van traditioneel Zapotec en Mixteeks fretwerk en kranen tot reproducties van hedendaagse schilders. De verwerking van zijn textiel is 100% ambachtelijk van het wassen van de wol verkregen van de schapen in de rivier, het kaarden van de wol, de verwerking van de draad door het spinnewiel, het gebruik van natuurlijke kleurstoffen op basis van insecten en variëteit van planten, tot voltooiing op hun pedaalweefgetouwen.
We hebben tijd om te stoppen en de gastronomie van Oaxaca te proeven. We hebben veel opties: de markt, een restaurant, lokale eetgelegenheden, een kleine kraam. De gastronomie van Oaxaca is overal aanwezig. De gids zal u adviseren over de beste eetgelegenheden. (Eten niet inbegrepen)
Op 70 kilometer van de stad Oaxaca ligt een van de meest spectaculaire natuurgebieden van de staat: de versteende watervallen van Hierve el Agua, gelegen tussen de bergen van de Sierra Mixe. U kunt hier wandelen en zelfs zwemmen. Er zijn drie zwembaden waar u, als het weer het toelaat, kunt zwemmen. Neem uw zwemkleding en handdoek mee. Een plek waar je versteld zult staan van het uitzicht dat je vanaf de top van de waterval hebt. Je kunt zwemmen, dus neem je zwemkleding mee.
Het is tijd om meer te leren over het mezcalproces. Ze hebben meer dan 15 verschillende smaken en u krijgt de gelegenheid om hun 100% ambachtelijke proces te proberen. (Alleen personen ouder dan 21 jaar mogen de mezcalproeverij bijwonen)

We highly recommend this tour! Our group of 3 friends had a private tour with Irvin and had a perfect day! The tour was well-timed and a good mix of different types of activities. Irvin was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great experience in Oaxaca!

This is an absolute must to do when you are in Oaxaca City. There is so much to learn about the mexican culture on this tour! We ate at a hacienda owned by a family near Hierve el Agua and it was hands down the best meal and hot chocolate on this trip. My boyfriend had a coffee and even thst was good. Hierve el Agua was spectacular and we practically had the whole place to ourselves since I booked the earliest tour. Monte Alban was stunning and we have a new appreciation for fabric weaving and the color dying process. Our guide Miguel was so friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. We had alot of fun learning about even his family's contribution to Oaxacan culture. A 10/10 for sure and ask for Miguel! Thank you Miguel ❤️

This was the best tour! A wonderful experience seeing all of the amazing sights! Miguel was an incredible guide as he was very knowledgeable and patient, we could not have asked for better, make sure you ask for him! A full day but time flew by as the experiences unfolded. I especially enjoyed Monte Alban! When visiting Oaxaca I highly recommend this tour with Miguel, you will have an opportunity to see and experience some of the best Oaxaca has to offer! What an amazing experience! Daniel was professional, punctual, informative and tons of fun. He picked us up from our airbnb in a comfortable and clean suburban, plenty of room for the 7 of us. We toured Monte Alban, with details and insight from Daniel throughout the walk. Lots of steps up and down, with incredible views. The 2nd stop at Casa Ollin to learn about the multi-generational process of the artistry and craftsmanship involved in weaving was so much more than we expected, not to be missed. Then on to Hierve el Agua to see the natural pools and petrified waterfalls, spending a bit of time afterward for beverages and food. Then on to the mezcal tasting! After an informative tour to learn the lengthy process of making mezcal, we proceeded to taste, and taste, and taste some more. Throughout the day, Daniel remained fun and informative, never rushing us on to the next location. We returned after a full day, again right to our Airbnb. The driver and guide were super professional and friendly throughout, punctual and very prepared. The scheduling of activities was respected in time and form, without being felt we were pressured to move forward.

It was great. Sites were beautiful. Bring swim suit if you want to swim at hieva agua. Yaris was very knowledgeable but the tour at monte alban was rushed. We weren’t anle to visit the museum. We weren’t given too much info about hierva. We had a mexican buffet for lunch. Mescal tasting was very informative. We got to taste the harshest and smoothest mezcal
Hola ya hablamos con yareth el porque no los llevo al museo y me dijo que fue por que checo el trafico hacia hierve el agua, al ser un tour largo necesitamos checar todos los detalles para que disfrunten todo el dia y no regresar de noche a la ciudad. pero gracias a su comentario seguimos creciendo.
Daniel who was our main guide, was excellent. So was Miguel, who helped with the tour at Monte Albán. both had a superior understanding of English, and were very knowledgeable about history, nature, customs, and general culture. the tour itself encompassed a nice variety of stops. And Daniel was very amenable to us skipping the Mezcal factory/tasting and adding the Tule tree to our itinerary.

Miguel was a fantastic guide. His English is great, and he has a wonderful sense of humor. Besides that, the four experiences were all unique. We couldn't decide which we liked best.
