Met deze tour kun je op één dag het beste van de Heilige Vallei ervaren, van de levende cultuur in Chinchero tot de verbluffende architectuur en landschappen in Moray, Maras en Ollantaytambo. Het is belangrijk op te merken dat het een drukke dag is, dus wees bereid om rond te lopen en alle geschiedenis en schoonheid die deze regio te bieden heeft in je op te nemen. Vroeg vertrek uit Cusco: De tour begint vroeg in de ochtend vanuit Cusco. Een deskundige gids haalt u op bij uw accommodatie of een handig ontmoetingspunt. Chinchero: Onze eerste stop is in Chinchero, een pittoresk stadje dat bekend staat om zijn traditionele weefsels en zijn markt. We bezoeken het plaatselijke archeologische complex, met onder meer Inca-landbouwterrassen en een koloniale kerk gebouwd op een oud Inca-gebouw. We zullen ook een Andes-textielcentrum bezoeken waar we het proces van het maken en verven van Andes-textiel leren.
Moray: We gaan dan naar Moray, een fascinerende archeologische vindplaats die bestaat uit cirkelvormige landbouwterrassen die in een natuurlijke krater zijn gebouwd. Hier zullen we leren over het belang van Moray in de landbouwexperimenten van de Inca's.
Maras: Na Moray gaan we naar de Salineras de Maras, waar we de indrukwekkende zoutverdampingsterrassen zullen zien die sinds de Inca-tijden worden gebruikt. Hier zullen we meer leren over het zoutextractieproces.
Bij aankomst in Urubamba gaan we naar een van de beste restaurants waar we zullen genieten van een heerlijke Andes-lunchbuffet.
Ollantaytambo: Onze laatste stop is in Ollantaytambo, een historische stad en een goed bewaard gebleven archeologisch complex. Hier zullen we de Inca-ruïnes verkennen en leren over hun strategische en religieuze belang.

We visited several very interesting sites. We followed from Cusco to several points, ending in ollantaytambo, where we had more time to visit the ruins. Our guide Carlos was great.

Valuable to visit so many places in a day, and the guide Joel is knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommended for those who want to visit Scared Vallery and drop off at Ollantaytambo.
I did the tour through the Sacred Valley with the help of the outstanding tour guide Fredy Kruger. The itinerary is excellently put together if you want to continue on to Aguas Calientes, since they stick to the tour schedule; furthermore, Fredy was in communication with me at all times to pick me up at my hotel. A luxury. And the lunch that is included is of excellent quality.

We had an amazing trip with Alejandro as our tour guide. He’s extremely well-knowledged about the history of the sacred valley, and we learned a great deal during our visits. On top of that, the 12-hour schedule works very well for us. The pickup was smooth and we have a good amount of time to explore each destination. It was an unforgettable trip for sure. We took a meaningful tour that showcases the people of the places and, of course, the greatness of Inca engineering. The guide (Fredy) was very friendly and demonstrated knowledge of each place visited. He had a great sense of humor and was very punctual in the pickup (luxury driver, super cautious).

Freddie was a great tour guide! We’ve been on two tours so far, and Freddie’s to the sacred valley is still the best! Plenty of photos, lots of information but not overloading, and everyone in my family had a favorite place the tour offered. It was also great for transit to the Ollantaytambo train station to head to Machu Picchu next!
