Tour hele dag Hoge Berg: Potrerillos, Uspallata vanuit Mendoza
Beschrijving
Geniet van het landschap van de berg in zijn maximale pracht. Deze tour, die wordt beschouwd als een van de meest populaire in de regio, gaat van Mendoza naar de grens met Chili. Tijdens uw reis zult u charmante plaatsen tegenkomen; Potrerillos en Cacheuta bezitten beide een vitale rijkdom en functie voor de provincie. Langs de route maken we een stop in het skicentrum Penitentes, om van de sneeuw in het winterseizoen te genieten. Verderop vinden we Puente del Inca, een rotsformatie die een natuurlijke brug voorstelt omringd door warmwaterbronnen. In de buurt zullen we via een prachtig uitkijkpunt de Aconcagua-berg observeren, de hoogste top van Amerika. Ten slotte zullen we, na de internationale route te volgen, het douanecomplex “Los Horcones” vinden, en later, al in de grensstreek met Chili, zullen we onze tour eindigen in Las Cuevas, een plaats met een Europese bouwstijl en waar we een stop om te genieten van een Mendoziniaanse lunch in een typisch bergrestaurant.

Reisroute
Nadat we alle reizigers bij de hotels hebben opgehaald, gaan we naar de eerste stop van deze excursie voor een reis die ongeveer een uur duurt.
Potrerillos is de eerste stop, waar u wat frisse lucht kunt krijgen, een snack kunt kopen en het meer, het Potrerillos Reservoir, kunt bewonderen
Hier bevinden we ons voor een pre-Spaanse nederzetting van de inheemse Huarpes en ook voor het zuidelijkste punt van het Inca-rijk.
We bezoeken Villas de Picheuta, Polvaredas en Punta de Vacas.
We vervolgen onze weg naar het Aconcagua-uitkijkpunt zonder de indrukwekkende Puente del Inca (Incabrug) uit het oog te verliezen, een natuurlijk architectonisch werk met warmwaterbronnen.
Daarna bezoeken we het skigebied Los Penitentes, waar u vrije tijd heeft om met de stoeltjeslift te rijden en een fantastisch panoramisch uitzicht over de omgeving te krijgen (entreeprijs niet inbegrepen).
De volgende stop is een panoramisch uitkijkpunt op Cerro Aconcagua, gelegen op 2750 meter (9022 voet) boven zeeniveau. Vanaf daar gaat u naar de Horcones-lagune en het provinciale park Aconcagua.
Als u de internationale route volgt, bereikt u uw eindbestemming, het dorp Las Cuevas (een dorp in Europese stijl, gelegen op 3200 meter of (10.500 voet) boven zeeniveau). Tussen Las Cuevas en de internationale tunnel loopt een weg die bezoekers toegang geeft tot het Christus de Verlosser-monument, gelegen op 4200 meter (13.780 voet) boven zeeniveau.
Het is tijd om terug te gaan naar Mendoza en goed uit te rusten! De bus rijdt via dezelfde route terug naar de Panamerican Highway en brengt u rond 19.00 uur terug naar het hotel in Mendoza.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Vervoer van en naar de meeste hotels in het centrum van Mendoza. Binnen de stedelijke straal van de stad. Als de accommodatie zich buiten de straal bevindt, wordt u geïnformeerd over het dichtstbijzijnde ontmoetingspunt voor het ophalen / wegbrengen. Houd er rekening mee dat het bij reguliere excursies tot 30/35 minuten kan duren voordat u wordt opgehaald. Houd er rekening mee dat de bus langs verschillende hotels rijdt en dat passagiers soms vertraging oplopen!

- Draag comfortabele kleding en schoenen die geschikt zijn voor het seizoen van het jaar. Breng snoep, mineraalwater en zonnebrandcrème en een hoed mee in de zomer
- U dient uw documenten en contant geld bij u te hebben.
- Informeer hotel en adres.
- Tijdens de koude maanden kunnen activiteiten in de Hoge Bergen worden gewijzigd door onstabiele en onvoorspelbare weersomstandigheden, zoals wegafsluitingen of vertragingen in het verkeer.
- De staat van de weg wordt door de Gendarmerie dezelfde ochtend dat we aankomen op Uspallata geïnformeerd, dus als u besluit om de service te nemen is er geen terugbetaling of herschikking.
- De tour wordt niet opgeschort vanwege slecht weer. We vertrekken hetzelfde en we bieden onze diensten op de best mogelijke manier, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden van elke dag.
- Als we niet aan de oorspronkelijke route kunnen voldoen, wordt de excursie aangevuld met een extra route door de Uspallata-vallei.

We did the high mountain excursion and we loved all the landscapes; our country is beautiful and perhaps we do not appreciate it enough. The guide knew so much and was very loving as well. Don't miss it if you travel to Mendoza.

Honestly this is the best thing I’ve done while here in Mendoza. The guide Hugo was super knowledgeable and comprehensive. You had a lot of time to really take in all the different spots you visited and the view at the last stop is breathtaking. Worth the price just for that. A must do in Mendoza!

The tour was very nice, worth the visit. Only the lunch option that is weak and expensive.

The driving distance is unavoidably long but the views worth it. It would be even better if the stopping time for the Aconcagua viewpoint can be increased while some other sites may be shortened or trimmed. The guide is very energetic and carry a positive attitude. But perhaps she is too nice to allow a guest’s request to ride our van for going back to cafe for her missing bag while the whole group of others just waiting and wasted almost an hour.

The trip was long but the sites we visited mostly were fantastic. Take the video in tunnel to Pertrelillos. It was wow video moment. Puentr del Inca was fantastic structure and stories. The cisit to Aconcongua qas good and the end of the road was just ok.

The trip is very nice and impressive Los Andes, Aconcagua, Lagos etc. But they have to advise themselves well on the weather so that all the steps of the tuor they are paying are fulfilled, we could not climb Christ with the border of Chile why it was snowy and that was not in winter, yet VIATOR does not make any warning. They still sell it to a Sky field but they don't make this stop because there's no snow in that area and they sell you the full tour

The trip was very interesting , beautiful views of lake and mountains, two stops at nice coffee and tea place , our tour guide Federico was excellent .

The tour was nice and the landscapes amazing. However, we booked the tour in English and it was completely in Spanish. We were two people, one native spanish speaker and one non-spanish speaker. This was a problem because one of us couldn’t understand what was being told and therefore, missed important informations. I don’t blame the guide, she was amazing, but it would have been more enjoyable to have the tour in English, as we booked it.

It was a great trip to Mendoza! The tour included several stations - cacheuta, picheuta, potrerillos, puente del inca. The guides were very nice and with a lot of knowledge about each of the places! I highly recommend taking the tour!

It was beautiful the high mountain tour.. The scenery is stunning, each stop is cuter than the last.. The guide was super cool, he explained everything very clearly and patiently. We stopped in places like Potrerillos, Uspallata and Puente del Inca, and we could see Aconcagua up close. Take the typical picture with the mountain in the background.. A long walk but totally worth it
