Spent £350 for two people for this tour. Alex and his wife were nice, though the fee is only for a taxi service. As noted, attraction fees are not included (coming to €52 for two) and it’s recommended to bring basics like water for yourself as these are not included. The day was pleasant with Alex and his wife picking us up at our hotel dropping us off firstly at Segesta (2h) and then Erice (2h) with a stop at a cannoli shop (approx. 10 minutes) on the way which Alex recommended (€3,50 for 1 cannoli). When pick up came it was noted that we should hurry back as taxis waiting nearby is prohibited, which was slightly unexpected given the cost of this private tour. After Erice we were dropped back to the hotel. We reached out to Alex noting that the trip was cut short as Erice should have been 2.5h in total. Alex noted this was because of the cannoli stop, though it was not explained that this stop would lead to us losing time at the attractions and it appeared that this stop was on the way to Erice. Alex then said that our hotel was not included as part of pick up despite it appearing on the Tripadvisor selection list, and said “next time appreciate the people who work to let you try typical products, which were not part of the tour”. Despite being a significant cost for a taxi service the day was pleasant, but it is unfortunate that it ended with hostility. Unfortunately I would not recommend this experience.
Very nice experience. Erice is a beautiful medieval village, unfortunately I wasn't able to see or visit much because there was thick fog even though it was May because it had rained the day before. So I recommend not going when the weather is bad due to thick fog... I haven't been to the temples of Segesta, but I tried to go to the free spas (the private ones were closed) I don't recommend them, they don't have any spas, just a small river.
