Toronto Distillery District Walking Tour

Sinds 2005 hebben we bezoekers begeleid door de ongelooflijke transformatie van het district - van whiskydistilleerderij tot Hollywood North-filmlocatie tot de levendige cultuurbestemming voor voetgangers. Ochtend- en middagtours beschikbaar - sluit je aan bij onze Expert gidsen en verken historische rode bakstenen straten, ontdek lokale cafés en hoor enkele van Toronto's meest intrigerende verhalen. Dit is 60 minuten comfortabel wandelen met veel fotostops en leuke verhalen geleverd door onze geanimeerde gidsen! Wat te verwachten : Kleine groepen (maximaal 15 personen), 60 minuten wandelen in een comfortabel tempo. We behandelen ongeveer 6 blokken in totaal, met veel stops voor foto's en vragen. Regen of zonneschijn - we nemen je mee naar binnen als het gaat regenen. Perfect voor : Eerste keer Toronto bezoekers en locals die meer willen weten over de stad waarin ze wonen. Opmerking : Uw Gids kan op verzoek een volledig toegankelijke route volgen.

David have us a great overview of the history of whiskey production in Toronto and its influence on the development of the area. This was a great short tour filled with sights and historical information. I highly recommend taking it.

We took the walking tour with our guide Tom who was very friendly and informative. We learned about the area's history dating back over the centuries. It was interesting how there was an association with prohibition in the U.S. and some notorious individuals. We had not realized how many movies were filmed in the area. We had fun and it was a good value for us.
