Lissabon, ons geliefde Lisboa, stad, haven en vooral de hoofdstad van Portugal – de thuisbasis van Fado-muziek, maritieme reizen en iconische kleurrijke kasseienstraten, Lissabon heeft zoveel interessante feiten en verborgen geheimen die je absoluut niet mag missen! Een van de oudste hoofdsteden van Europa (ouder dan Rome) en de minste met zowel een rivier als een kustlijn, combineert traditioneel erfgoed en eeuwenoude geschiedenis met innovatie en cultureel entertainment – wij zijn hier om u er doorheen te leiden! Een dagtocht vol Geschiedenis, verhalen, de leukste weetjes en curiosa en natuurlijk de leukste en mooiste uitzichten. Lissabon roept jou op, laten we samen de 7 heuvels veroveren. Nadat je 's ochtends bent opgehaald bij je accommodatie, steken we de iconische 25 april-brug over naar deze geweldige locatie voor de eerste stop van je Tour! Dit uitkijkplatform geïnspireerd op Christus de Verlosser uit Rio de Janeiro (Brazilië), trappen op de zeven heuvels en over de rivier de Taag de Atlantische oceaan in! En niets beters om uw Tour te beginnen dan een panoramisch adembenemend uitzicht over de hele stad die u later zult verkennen!
Een handvol bezienswaardigheden in dit gebied om naar te staren en ansichtkaartachtige foto's te maken om later te onthouden! Een locatie met net zoveel schoonheid als verhalen om te vertellen als elke plek waar je kijkt, de geschiedenis heeft zijn stempel gedrukt: a. Toren van Bélem en het Monument der Ontdekkingen b. Jerónimos-klooster c. Pastel de Belem of Pastel de Nata
3- Reis langs de smalle geplaveide straatjes van Lissabon en traditionele eeuwenoude wijken, waar de meeste Portugese gebruiken en antieke tradities te zien zijn, vol geschiedenis en cultuur, de thuisbasis van de bekende FADO: a. Praça do Comercio b. Heuveltop "Miradouro's" - "Miradouro" is ons woord voor gezichtspunt, er zijn er veel in Lissabon met het beste 360º uitzicht over de stad, dus maak je camera klaar! c. Alfama & Bairro Alto d. Sé Cathedral – de oudste kathedraal van Lissabon
4- Neem een pauze van onze (wonder)bus en loop over de wegen van de Baixa Pombalina in Lissabon om de 15e-eeuwse extravagante architectuur, oude kerken, lokale winkels en tradities te zien (zoals de "ginginha"-drank die je de kans krijgt om proberen) en natuurlijk de deuntjes van de geschiedenis, verhalen en interessante feiten die onze hoofdstad te bieden heeft!

ALLEEN als we zien dat het opgegeven adres zich op een moeilijke locatie bevindt om te parkeren/stoppen, kunnen we u vragen ons te ontmoeten op een andere centrale locatie, niet meer dan 5 minuten lopen van het oorspronkelijke opgegeven adres. Je gids wacht op je bij de hoofdingang en draagt een Wondervan-uniform.

On the Health Goth Yoga Retreat we went on two different tours with Tomás! He was AMAZING! He was kind, professional, funny, and very informative! I feel like I learned so much & got a REAL Lisbon experience! Highly recommend touring with Tomás he was the best!!
We had a wonderful day in Sinatra, visiting the X Factory and the Belem district before finishing with a beautiful outing at sea.
Alex from Wonder Van was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He was our tour guide for two days while we were in Portugal and made our time in Sintra, Fatima and Tomar a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Alex if you are going to be in Sintra and are in need of a guide!
Alex our expert guide picked us up at our hotel in Sintra for a day trip to Fatima and Tomar. He Was very knowledgable, well spoken, efficient in parking and accommodating throughout the entire day. I would highly recommend Alex and this tour company for future trips.
We spent a wonderful day in pouring rain with Alexandre. He showed us the sights of Lisbon and told us historical, special and interesting facts. Above all, he adjusted the few rays of sunshine to lead us to lookouts, then to be there when it started raining again.

We had a a tour that picked us up from the cruise dock and delivered us to our hotel, with some sightseeing in between. We saw many of Lisbon's sights and enjoyed a great lunch (at our own expense). Tomas was a wonderful tour guide, watching that everyone in our group of 20 was not falling behind and aware of those that had mobility problems, which was greatly appreciated. He explained everything clearly, giving tips on where to have dinner and everyone had a great time. Tomas is the best tour guide we had in quite some time. I highly recommend him and this company.

We did 3 consecutive private tours with Wonder Van. We were fortunate that Wonder Van coordinated for us to have the same guide for all 3 days. Our guide, Alex, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and considerate. He accompanied us to the sites and monuments to explain the historical significance. Since we were on consecutive tours, he kept referencing previous details to tie things together. We were so impressed with him. We were picked up early Sunday morning at the Lisbon Airport. Alex brought us to locations by the river well before any crowds arrived. At the Monument to Discoveries, Alex used the huge map to bring history to life with interesting stories of Portuguese discoveries in the 14-1500's This is also where he first showed us distinctive Portuguese architectural details incorporated in many monuments and sites (ropes, anchors, compass, etc). A quick bite at the classic, Pasteis de Belem. Then crossed the "Golden Gate of Lisbon" bridge to the Sanctuary of Christ the King for amazing views of the city and the monument. We toured various scenic overlooks, monuments and churches, including the Igreja de São Domingos which was damaged by the earthquake and later fire. Amazing. Alex also treated us to a sample of Ginjinha. Some more city exploration, then delivered us safely to our Airbnb. This was the first day of multiple tours with Alex at Wonder Vans. We experienced a comfortable vehicle, unforgettable locations, safe driving, and memorable narration by our guide. We saw and learned so much that day! Ps. the process of booking our private customized tours was handled kindly and professionally by Ana and Mariana. Thank you both for setting this up for us!

Having had an amazing experience with Tomás on the Sintra Jeep Tour we decided to book this trip too. Again a fantastic day where we got to do and see things that are not always that obvious to the regular tourist. Would highly recommend wondervan and Tomás.

We had an amazing tour in Lisbon with our guide LUIS and the day was more than interesting and pleasant with him (despite the difficult weather conditions). We visited a lot of places, hear nice info and had time to see, take pictures and discuss. Luis is a kind and interesting person, very experienced in Lisbon and he helped us very much by suggesting us destinations and things to do for the rest of our trip.
