Om deze Tour comfortabel, plezierig en ontspannend voor u te laten zijn, kozen we ervoor om naar Porto te reizen met de auto of het busje met 4 haltes op onze weg van Lissabon naar Porto: 09:00 uur - Vertrek vanuit de stad Lissabon richting het dorp Óbidos. 10:00 uur - Stop bij Óbidos voor een bezoek. 11:00 uur - Vertrek vanuit Óbidos richting de stad Fátima. 12:30 uur - Stop in de stad Fátima voor lunch en religieus bezoek. 15:00 uur - Vertrek vanuit de stad Fátima richting de stad Aveiro. 16:00 uur - Stop in de stad Aveiro voor een bezoek. 17:00 uur - Vertrek vanuit de stad Aveiro richting de stad Porto. 18:00 uur - Aankomst in de stad Porto, het beëindigen van onze diensten in uw hotel.

Stop: Vrije tijd Óbidos is een charmant middeleeuws stadje in centraal Portugal, bekend om zijn goed bewaarde kasteelmuren, geplaveide straatjes en witgekalkte huizen versierd met kleurrijke bloemen. Ooit een huwelijksgeschenk aan koningin Urraca in 1210, werd het bekend als de “Stad der Koninginnen” en bleef eeuwenlang deel uitmaken van de koninklijke bruidsschat. Bezoekers kunnen door de smalle steegjes slenteren, het historische kasteel verkennen en genieten van lokale specialiteiten zoals de beroemde Ginjinha de Óbidos – een kersenlikeur die vaak in een chocoladebeker wordt geserveerd. De stad organiseert ook populaire evenementen zoals het Internationaal Chocoladefestival en het Óbidos Literair Festival, waardoor het een reputatie heeft als een cultureel juweeltje.
Reis naar Nazaré.
Stop: Vrije tijd. Nazaré is een pittoresk kustplaatsje in centraal Portugal, wereldberoemd om zijn recordbrekende golven en diepgewortelde visserijtradities. Gelegen langs de Atlantische Oceaan, is het verdeeld in drie hoofdgebieden: de badplaats (Praia), het dorp op de klif (Sítio), en de wijk in het binnenland (Pederneira). De stad verwierf internationale bekendheid dankzij de gigantische golven bij Praia do Norte, waar surfers van over de hele wereld - zoals Garrett McNamara - golven van meer dan 30 meter hoog hebben bereden. Maar buiten de branding biedt Nazaré een rijke culturele ervaring: traditionele vissersboten, vrouwen in zevenlaagse rokken en het Heiligdom van Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Nazaré, een bedevaartsoord met eeuwenlange toewijding. Het is een plek waar natuurspektakel en cultureel erfgoed elkaar ontmoeten, waardoor het een must-see is voor zowel sensatiezoekers als geschiedenisliefhebbers.

Stop: Vrije tijd. Aveiro wordt vaak het “Venetië van Portugal” genoemd dankzij de pittoreske grachten en kleurrijke Moliceiro boten die door de stad glijden. Gelegen langs de Atlantische kust, is het een levendige stad die bekend staat om zijn Art Nouveau architectuur, zoutpannen en zoete lekkernijen ovos moles – een lokale delicatesse gemaakt van eidooiers en suiker. Historisch gezien ontwikkelde Aveiro zich rond zijn lagune, de Ria de Aveiro, die lange tijd de visserij en zoutproductie heeft ondersteund. Vandaag de dag is het ook een universiteitsstad met een jeugdige energie en een groeiende reputatie voor innovatie en duurzaamheid. My family and I had the most wonderful experience being driven by Alfredo. We travelled to 3 cities with him. He is a great driver, a wonderful source of interesting information ( on the cities) and an amazingly kind and thoughtful person. Very trustworthy, very helpful and always went above and beyond the job. I hope everyone using this company gets a chance to be driven by Alfredo! He made this trip an incredible 5 star plus.
Jose was an excellent guide and host. Great way to transfer from Lisbon to Porto and get to some of the "must see's" like Obidos. All the recommendations were great, nothing was too much trouble and was a highlight of our trip so far.

Tiago was a wonderful guide! He drove us from Lisbon to Porto in a private van, with the option to stop at two towns along the way. Since we had already visited Fátima, we chose Óbidos and Aveiro. Óbidos was our favorite—a charming walled town full of history, beautiful views, and quaint streets. Aveiro was more modern, with a history of salt production, canals, and colorful (electric!) gondolas. We found Óbidos much more charming. Tiago was attentive, an excellent driver, and a great conversationalist. He also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations in Porto—all of which were superb—as well as great spots for watching the sunset. A wonderful experience from start to finish. We highly recommend Tiago!

Lawrence was a fantastic driver. He personalized our transfer, pointed out historical sites and thought of everything to make sure we were comfortable. We chose Aveiro as our stop. I was disappointed as it felt like a tourist trap. There is nothing romantic about a motorized gondola ride in small concrete channels with 20 other people under the blazing sun.

We booked a one way day excursion from Lisbon to Porto with a stop for lunch in Aviera. Our pick up time was at 9am. Our driver, Lawrence arrived early, but did not pressure or try to hurry us up. We used the extra time to make an unplanned stop at the famed Pasteis de Belem for cappuccino and pasteis de nata for breakfast. The ride was very comfortable and he pointed out historical sights along the way with knowledge and interesting facts. He was flexible with our time in Aviera. His driving was impeccable. My family (6 adults and 1 pre-teen) and I had the best time with Lawrence. He was beyond kind and patient, so knowledgeable and really made our trip to Portugal that much more amazing. He picked us up right in front of our AirBnb in Lisbon, and after a great, full day of sightseeing, dropped us off right in front of our hotel in Porto. His transport was very comfortable and clean, and we had no issue fitting all of our luggage in as well. I highly recommend him and would book with him again anytime! 10/10!

This was a fantastic tour to get a great view of Portugal outside of the big cities. Very happy Our next stop was Portoafter visiting Lisbon. Very happy we chose the drive vs. the train.
