Lokale bewoners van Maōri-afkomst, geboren en getogen in Turangi Tongariro, bieden een niche-transportdienst naar Aotearoa, de bekendste eendaagse avontuurlijke wandeling van Nieuw-Zeeland naar de Tongariro Alpine Crossing met bekroonde, ervaren lokale transportdiensten. BELANGRIJK : Laat ons zo snel mogelijk je kenteken van je voertuig weten, WhatsApp vriendelijk. Google Maps NIET tijdens het rijden, want je wordt weggeleid van de maunga bergen. De beste routebeschrijving vanuit Turangi is om af te slaan State Highway 1 naar SH46, Bord geplaatst op rechts Tongariro Shuttle Parking. Komende van National Park Village, afslaan State Highway 4 naar SH47, afslaan SH47 naar SH46, Bord geplaatst op uw linker Tongariro Shuttle Parking. Laat het ons de avond van tevoren weten als u iets niet zeker weet.

Private car park and shuttle service very well organized. Be prepared for fast weather change and wear appropriate boots. The different view are georges.

Unique landscape. With alpine experience rather technically easy hike. But unfortunately heavy mass tourism.

My friend and I were nervous to do this hike but the tour/shuttle we booked kept us reassured! Car park was easy to find and staff were very welcoming. On the shuttle bus they reassured us that if our car was still there at the end of the day they would check up on us! They also reassured us that if at any point on the track we had to turn back we could contact them and they would arrange a shuttle to help us out! We ended up feeling a lot more relaxed doing the trek and it was a great experience, highly recommend if you’re a bit unsure 😄😄 The views were so so worth it! 🌋🌋

Well arranged and left promptly. Driven with your own car to the end point but you can also be picked up / dropped off in Turangi.

If you pay a visit to Gräfrath, for example to visit the Klingen Museum or just the historical surroundings, and arrive by car, you always need a parking space. We have found a free parking space for visitors during such a trip to get to know the structural historical past of Gräfrath. Approx. 100 meters from the Blades Museum is such a parking lot. FYI: Behind the Blades Museum, by the church, a staircase leads down to the market square, once there, you are right in the historic cityscape of Gräfrath.

Such a beautiful and diverse hike! The trail offers a great mix of landscapes – at one point it feels tropical and jungle-like, then you’re walking along a lake, and later through wild bushes. Every part felt different and special.

The shuttles actually left ahead of schedule (when they were full) so it was great to get a bit of a head start to the climb. The check-in staff were very nice and welcoming and the driver was lovely to chat with on the way to the mauna. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is because in my mind “secure” means there’s a person at the lot supervising the cars during the day. Got back to my car, office was closed and no one was there. Only thing that made it “secure” beyond a person being present is a security camera. Luckily my car was okay but there’s really no one to stop others from just wandering in there.
