Stap terug in het duistere verleden van Duitsland tijdens deze 2.45 uur durende wandeltocht door het Derde Rijk. Leer hoe München tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog een belangrijk centrum voor de nazipartij werd en hoor verhalen over een van de machtigste dictators uit de geschiedenis, Adolf Hitler. Volg de groei van de beweging vanaf haar eerste massabijeenkomst in het Hofbräuhaus tot haar mislukte poging om de macht te grijpen in de Feldherrnhalle. Hoor over de verzetsbeweging Witte Roos en vele andere belangrijke feiten terwijl je sites bezoekt die een rol hebben gespeeld bij het ontstaan van het donkerste hoofdstuk in de Duitse geschiedenis. De tour wordt afgeraden voor kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar.

Josh was extremely insightful and as a historian made me think deeply about what I previously thought may have led to the rise of the Nazi party. Me and my brother have not stopped talking about the tour over many beers since. If you want to know about the dark history of this wonderful city. Josh is your man. He pulls no punches and is refreshing in his honesty on how his nation succumbed to radicalism.
Great 2.5 hour tour around Munich! Aileen was a great guide. We recommend this as we learned several new things!
I do not recommend this tour. Our guide, Josh, used a rumpled, sloppy bunch of black and white photos. Why photos? I wanted to see the actual locations in Munich. I could have gone to the library instead--for free. Also, he lectured us. Our guide was rude, telling us that the info we had regarding WWII came from the History Channel and YouTube and that it was wrong. That was insulting. He knew nothing about our views or our knowledge of history.
Had a great time learning about the history of Munich from someone who took it very serious. Our guide Josh gave a very informative and interesting tour giving us clear rules that allowed us Americans to respect our guide, the information and then city of Munich. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
Josh was a fascinating tour guide and knows his stuff! I learned about the rise of the Nazi Party in Munich and got to see where it all happened. Very interesting! It was an aspect of WWII I knew very little about.
Josh was an amazing guide and really provided a lot of historical understanding and thought provoking details for further informatiob. It was plus 32 degrees and he did fabulous at finding shade for all of his talks. It was a large group but he had excellent facilitation and ability to ensure we could all hear and see. Josh was awesome. Very knowledgeable and engaging. The pace was good and we definitely got a good overview. There was time to take pictures and ask questions. Would definitely recommend!
Very informative tour! Josh has a way of presenting the history of the Reich in a great way that is eye-opening and with great context. We saw some important historical sites, but this tour is more informative than just seeing some buildings. You can tell he has great knowledge and passion for the subject.
Josh gave extremely in depth review of how the National Socialist party rose to power in Munich and its impact on Bavaria.
